Hi. I have name changed for this, for reasons which will become obvious!
I have been seeing a man for a while now, but he has a 'bedroom habit' which I find really REALLY weird and just wondered if I am just out of touch or am I right in thinking this is really bizarre.
Ok...(deep breath)......when we've had sex, he lifts the covers, points down to his 'manhood' and says 'clean me up then'! I asked him what he meant the first time he said it and he said that unless I (so sorry for the graphic description) sucked and licked it clean he would get sore!!!! When I refuse he gets really affronted, like I'm rejecting him sexually, when there's nothing sexual about it. he's already 'shot his load', sex is finished and in my opinion he's just too lazy to get up and wash it, so expects me to give him a bed bath with my mouth!!! I mean, it's cold, congealed...his AND mine IYSWIM.
Is this really odd? I sure as hell think so.

toogross did you ever question him about this request or discuss it in any way?

I can actually understand your point about being out of the dating game and wondering if the rules had changed.

I keep coming back to check for your contributions as I am fascinated by this story

bellabelly · 12/09/2008 10:41

I would find the whole cleaning up thing a lot less weird if it was supposed to be sexy, like a way to get him aroused again so you could have sex a second time. But if it is LITERALLY just so his dick is cleaned up, then that is beyond freaky. And the controlling way he asks, like he just expects you to comply. Horrible.

piratecat · 12/09/2008 10:45

totally 'get' the been out of dating, as am loneparent, and been on my own ages now.

Not easy to have the confidence, to be upfront with someone, and also when at start of a relationship/dating.

Yet, he really needs to find a hobby.

and NOT you!!!!

solidgoldbrass · 12/09/2008 19:10

It doesn't actually matter whether or not something is 'normal' ie most people do it/don't do it. If you don't want to do something, just say (nicely, if it was a polite request) that you don't want to do it. It's not the act that's a problem, whether it's your man here who wants his knob licked clean or someone who wants you to pee up his nose or whip him with spaghetti - it's the ordering you to do something and acting like you are the one with the problem if you don't like the idea.

TotalChaos · 12/09/2008 19:16

yes, I agree sgb. It's a reasonably harmless if odd request if you are both happy with it - but since you aren't, and he's being so bullying about it then it becomes rather unpleasant.

I should SO not have opened this thread.

TooGross · 15/09/2008 09:50

I really shouldn't be reading these posts on a public computer as I keep laughing out loud and people are looking at me!
Yes, I've asked why he wants this done, and he says 'it's an insurance policy'! Basically if I don't clean it up as soon as, then it'll get sore and be out of action so 'it's in your own best interests'!!!!!
