Should I be cross if DH went to lap dancing club?

ActingNormal · 03/08/2008 21:49

...and spent £60 on private dances (we aren't poor and he doesn't spend money on much that is frivolous).

Other people seem to think I should be cross but I can't see it. Am I being a mug? Is it a sign of disrespect?

He got a bit of female attention outside the marriage. He was consenting. They were consenting. I knew he was going there. There doesn't seem like there is a risk of him forming a relationship with the women but if a woman behaved that way with him in a regular nightclub that seems more of a threat to me.

He came home horny as hell and seemed like he had a good break from the stress of his job.

you accused me of getting my kicks of this website? so yeah my commnet stands.

lol this place is awesome.

PinkTulips · 10/08/2008 22:26

judging by divastops i doubt you are her other half.

i might disagree with her POV on this thread but i do believe she is far too intelligent to possibly be married to a rude, ignorant, semi literate fool like you.

beanieb · 10/08/2008 22:26

He was not having a go at Divastrop. As far as I can see she accused him of using a parenting site as a masterbatory tool. I would hope he is not and if I were him I would have been highly offended at the suggestion.

Reading back I can see he walked away from any argument ages ago and until you came back suggesting what you did he hadn't much been involved in anything

onebatmother · 10/08/2008 22:26

snort

beanieb · 10/08/2008 22:28

Which is what I will do now... walk away.

I like a good debate but not one where people tell ither people to fuck off. It's abuse.

PinkTulips · 10/08/2008 22:29

or maybe i'm wrong in which case i think all of her arguements have lost alot of merit if this is the type of man she considers respectable and decent compared to any man i know who'd rather take a punch in the face than tell a woman to fuck off with no good cause.

Fatbob · 10/08/2008 22:34

yeah say it all to me then, i can take it.

she's an idiot.

be a man and say it to the man, not the women.

Fatbob · 10/08/2008 22:35

and before you say go fuck yourself again, i would like it noted i have tried and it wont reach

onebatmother · 10/08/2008 22:35

oh. my. god.

it's ShamelessNet

divastrop · 10/08/2008 22:37

fatbob-i doubt very much that you are a man.boy, maybe, but man,no.

PT-i have reported my husbands post!

PinkTulips · 10/08/2008 22:37

in fact the thought that all you high and mighty 'lap dancing is the emitomy of all that is wrong with society' types think this is a decent man and that is the sort of relationship we should all aspire to disgusts me.

i wish you happiness in that marriage divastrop but i doubt you have it, any man that speaks like that to a stranger must be an abusive fuck to his nearest and dearest. i'm sad for you that you don't know what a real relationship is

Fatbob · 10/08/2008 22:38

Divastop said "fatbob-i have come to the conclusion that you are a pretentious, immature student who has a weed addiction and a weight problem, and no social life,so you its no wonder you use porn and visit lap-dancing clubs.

get a life. "

one should never assume, it makes and ass out of you.. not me. :0

PinkTulips · 10/08/2008 22:40

i will leave you all with the dictionary definition of pornography though.

por·nog·ra·phy (pôr-ngr-f)
n.

  1. Sexually explicit pictures, writing, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal.
  2. The presentation or production of this material.
  3. Lurid or sensational material

which covers cave paintings, pompeii's graffitti, indian statues and many other historical examples.

ActingNormal · 10/08/2008 22:41

I am so sorry, I never meant for all this to happen when I wrote the original, slightly provocative, post!

OP posts:
onebatmother · 10/08/2008 22:41

PT! he is not actually married to DivaStrop! He's a troll..

but lol at 'high and mighty'.

divastrop · 10/08/2008 22:41

PT-dont worry,i have been in abusive relationships and dh is anything but.

beanieb · 10/08/2008 22:43

He is more than a troll because he has singled one person out and DivaStrop has said already that she has reported her husband's posts.

Fatbob · 10/08/2008 22:43

ActingNormal - it's cool i came in to talk about this, until there is a IQ lock on PC's this will happen lots.

onebatmother · 10/08/2008 22:46

PT you are not thinking clearly

cave paintings, pompeii's graffitti, indian statues etc

  1. NOPE - bcs not intended to sexually arouse
  2. NOPE - as above
  3. NOPE - not lurid at all in the context of the cultures which produced them

really really really these things are not pornographic. They are explicit. If you say they are pornographic you are taking the position that teh Victorians took. Is there any way I could just ask you to take my word for it. Really, I devoted a year of my life to this stuff.
