Hi
earlier today my husband sent me a message that basically said can you come upstairs I’ve got a hard on that needs sorting! How would you respond to that?

OP posts:

Tell him I was on my way with a heavy book to play whack a mole.

Rania78 · 18/11/2023 23:11

I would go and sort him out. Him and myself 😆. Enjoy darling. Life is short ❤️

🤣🤣🤣

AdoraBell · 18/11/2023 23:13

🤣🤣 at the heavy book. OP I would either ignore the text or say you relief first.

bluebeardswife7 · 18/11/2023 23:15

Ask him back 'can you come to the kitchen, I have a pile of washing up needs sorting?'

Pinkpinkpink15 · 18/11/2023 23:16

Depends I think.

if he was a twat & generally treat me like a staff member (he'd be GONE). I'd text 'sort yourself out'

If I fancied him & I wasn't otherwise busy (WFH/looking after kids/whatever) I'd ask him if he had any special requests 😂

context is everything.

TopicalNameChange · 18/11/2023 23:20

Because my husband is nice and our sex life is good, it would be meant as a sexy invitation to fun times, and I would take it as such. Also, he would only text that once the kids were in bed and we'd had a day that suggested sex was on the cards!

I suspect that is not the case for you OP, or you wouldn't be asking

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 18/11/2023 23:22

I'd say lol. What do I get 😂. In all seriousness it wouldn't bother me. If I was in the mood I'd sort him out if I wasn't I wouldn't

How would I respond to your husbands hard on?

A jug of ice water.

jlpth · 18/11/2023 23:26

Needs more context really

This.

If it was my husband I'd be happy to oblige!

I'd send him back a video of me chopping banana with a cleaver...

SwordToFlamethrower · 18/11/2023 23:29

My husband never does anything like this (85% of sex is initiated by me) so I'd be smashing the bedroom door down and cracking my knuckles, "LET'S DO THIS, SEXY PANTS!"

(I just want to make it clear, we have very similar sex drives, but for reasons, he leaves the initiating to me)

Nogooddeed7 · 18/11/2023 23:32

Depends how your relationship is in general. Im guessing as you’ve posted this it’s potentially not great?

Womencanlift · 18/11/2023 23:52

As others have said context is everything but in a healthy relationship where there is time to enjoy each other in that moment, I wouldn’t see a problem

justanothermanicmonday1 · 19/11/2023 00:57

Tell him to bugger off and to sort himself out as I'm too tired😂🤣🤣🤣🤣

justanothermanicmonday1 · 19/11/2023 00:57

justalittlesnoel · 18/11/2023 23:11

Tell him I was on my way with a heavy book to play whack a mole.

Only valid response tbh 😂😂😂

Dotcheck · 19/11/2023 01:03

Op
Are you suggesting it’s somehow abusive?
Surely this is ok in a loving, healthy relationship? Of course you can say no, and it goes without saying that he has to be ok with that.

I just laughed 🤣 Cheers

determinedtomakethiswork · 19/11/2023 01:08

Is he thinking there's going to be anything in this for you?

ClareBlue · 19/11/2023 01:21

Are you asking how we would react to your husband saying this to us?
