I am in a long distance relationship. My boyfriend has admitted to masturbation when I am not there. The other day I saw him and noticed he had some red scratch marks and a small chunk of skin missing on the outer skin of his penis. Is this normal after masturbation? I hadn't caused those marks.

It has made me paranoid in case another woman has done this. He did catch up with a female friend of his not long ago at her home which he claims he has never fancied her. She lives with her ex partner but I don't know if he was there when my boyfriend went round.

In all seriousness, I think you should both get checked out at an STD clinic. It’s quick and easy to access an appointment.

Particularly if he has complained of irritation and has open sores on the skin., and has a history of unprotected sex.

Sounds like a small tear on his foreskin, quite possibly caused by masturbation or any sort of irritation. Google it, it's fairly common but may be a symptom of something he wants looking at as can cause long term issues if it recurs regularly.

In terms of 'admitting' masturbation - that's silly, noone has to admit to something which is perfectly normal and healthy, the rest is down to you to decide but you clearly don't trust him and that's not a good sign for your relationship.
