Hi folks

Earlier today I received a friends request from the gentleman who delivered my stuff earlier (My facebook is in a fake name, but he's obviously looked me up).

My immediate thought was "fuck no, that's creepy"

However - he was attractive, he was nice, and I thought that after our interaction.

Do I accept?
What do I do?

How weird of him and how weird of you to get into a conversation with him, essentially telling him off. Block him and report him. Who cares what local group he is in Confused

cheers for the judgement. I'm not reporting anyone, but thanks for telling me off 🙄

I think this is proved im shallow as if he wasn't good looking, I'd have instantly reported him!

It does tbh. Good looking people can be creeps too

Oh, so it's only you that can 'tell people off'?

Jesus - wtf!!!! @PumpkinSpicedLatte22

This is probably something he tries with any female customer that he thinks he has a chance of getting into bed. If he is a looker he probably has some success. I personally would have deleted/blocked any communication.

What does this mean?

DontLookBackInAnger1 · 04/07/2022 19:53

I think it's fine that he contacted you. He thought you were attractive and gave it a go! What harm is it, he knew where you lived anyway.

The only thing I'd be wary of is how many people he does that to. Does he have loads of Facebook "friends"?

Given our mutual group I wanted to make sure I was right.

I also wanted to give him a warning because tbqh I'm not worried.

Reporting him would have lost him his job and he would have continued to be a predator. I can only hope the reminder might help him actually think about it - if he doesn't, I've not lost anything, and if he does, I've gained.

Christ! I bet the poor guy is cringing.

Is it me or is everyone really harsh?? He may well have been a creep, yes, but he may also have been a normal guy who fancied OP and shot his shot!

A predator?! That's quite OTT and very presumptious. Do you feel the same when a guy chats you up? How dare he, what a monster?! 😂

VodselForDinner · 04/07/2022 18:30

Delete and block.

A man who knows where you live and then stalks you online is not someone I’d want to engage with.

Isn’t that was social media is for? Connecting, not stalking?

Need I remind you he looked me up on social media using my name and contact details?

Don't, cause I had splinters up my arse and then this lot convinced me he's a nutter!

Just like if Christian Grey was ugly and poor that would've been an episode of criminal minds rather than the overhyped "sexy" movie. Grin

OP posts:

He looked up your contact details using social media. I'm sorry but that does not make him a predator or a creep. A lot of people do this - look someone up who they met on a night out etc. Granted, not usually a delivery driver and it isn't professional but to class him as some kind of evil creepy stalker based on him doing this is really really over the top!!!

Palmfrond · 04/07/2022 20:33

Deliverootay call!

If he also sells drugs I’d say he’s a keeper.
