The man child: can they change?

Just that really. Has anyone ever seen a man child (like a married one in his forties with kids) change into an actual adult man? If you have seen it, how did it happen?

Blimey, I thought mine was a bit of a man child but yours takes it to a whole new level 🤦‍♀️ get out while you can.

No.

Um, wouldn't you be better off with one of those trained service dogs who help people who have movement problems?

Sametimenextyear2 · 08/03/2021 21:42

No, in my experience they get worse & you will be driven insane.

And for how many of these 20 years has he not contributed money. But if he was the SAHP that makes it not so bad.

@Bananalanacake Of the 23 years we have been together, he has been a part-time SAHP for 4 years in total I think. Both DCs went to nursery fairly young part-time to ahem...give him a break. I carried on working full time. The one useful thing he did do was night feeds 6 nights a week for both DCs (I slept through). Mind you, I did pretty much everything else.

I don't think he has ever contributed to the mortgage or bills. He pays for the petrol, that's it. To drive the car I bought.

Sorry op have you found yourself lumbered with my exdh? The one who demanded a new x box game for my 40th as it wasn't fair the whole day was about me...

Oh god. Is this what can happen when you buy your non-birthday children gifts on their siblings' birthdays? I feel vindicated.
