How do I prove she's crazy ? He doesn't believe me?

saddff · 24/09/2020 18:13

I started working at a new job September 2019.
I became friends with a girl and we got on well.
We started going on nights out/weekends away etc.
On a night out she introduced me to one of her guy friends (told me he was a player but encouraged me if I wanted to have fun for the night to go for it )
Anyway me and him got on great,we started texting and had some dates.
She changed on me altogether, stopped texting, stopped wanting to hang out.
On a date he told me she warned him off me saying I slept around (I don't ) that I was clingy (I'm not ) and I was like his ex (who he had a bad relationship with )
She made it difficult and told him if he wanted to remain friends with her he could but she would not socialise with me.
I seen her in a pub and went over and asked her if she was ok,I said I'm sorry if I offended her in some way and could we meet for a cuppa and a chat.
She said yes she would text me.
The next day he rang me really angry "I've spoke to "Alice" why did you threaten her last night ? This is too much like my ex's behaviour " and hung up.
I didn't threaten her.
She told him I ran up debts in my ex's name,I stalked my ex boyfriend and I was bad news.
I tried calling him 3 times no answer
I sent him 2 texts explaining that she was twisting and lying.
He's reply was long saying
"Your a liar,my friend is not a liar,I don't know what game your trying to play, leave me alone or il call the police, your crazy"
Then blocked me
She's totally ruined this
What the hell
How do I prove it ?

You don't, they both sound like idiots. You don't need the drama

NotSuchASmugMarriedNow1 · 24/09/2020 18:15

I wouldn't bother. Cut them both loose and move on. The only way to prove what was said would have been to tape the conversation.

slipperywhensparticus · 24/09/2020 18:15

Honestly? You don't you run as far away from them both as you can

She is batshit crazy

He is too quick to believe her over you

TooTrueToBeGood · 24/09/2020 18:15

Don't waste your time trying to prove anything. Just cut the pair of them and all their drama out of your life. You cannot win against psychotic fuckwits. They will just pull you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Mistystar99 · 24/09/2020 18:16

They are both weird. Don't waste your time on either of them.

Etinox · 24/09/2020 18:16

Walk away from the drama. There’s nothing you can say if he’s decided to believe her, he’s not worth it.
Flowers

feistyoneyouare · 24/09/2020 18:17

You've dodged a bullet here, OP. They both sound like psychos.

LaLaLandIsNoFun · 24/09/2020 18:17

You don’t.

Swerve massively to the left and then just keep on driving,

MushMonster · 24/09/2020 18:17

Why do you have to prove anything OP? Just let it go and forget about this duo. They are weird and not worthy of wasting your time on them. Just never speak to her again. If he was worthy, he would not dismiss you just because somebody said this ot that. Waste of time!

saddff · 24/09/2020 18:17

He wasn't replying so I was texting him and sent him a few messages.
Just trying to prove my point but that made me look crazy.
I said to him if I was a bad person like she was saying ..why did she wait till we got together ?
Why did she introduce me to you ?
He wouldn't even hear me out.

OP posts:
saddff · 24/09/2020 18:18

It's shitty because I think it could have been something good.
She knew he liked me.
She tried to sabotage our first date.
I think she thought he would sleep with me and that's it..I don't think she liked us dating.

OP posts:
StitchInTimeSavesNine · 24/09/2020 18:20

They are just using you to create a dramatic narrative in their own lives.

As you get older, you will come across other people who do this and it will become easier to spot.

When it's not you, it will be someone else. You can't prove anything to anyone as that is not what he wants.

Tell him you've got an evil twin or that you were kidnapped as a baby but Russians and it was a scheme to overthrow government and then forget them.

CremeEggThief · 24/09/2020 18:23

Well you've sussed them out. Now thank your stars you've had a lucky escape, forget them and move on. He clearly isn't the person you thought he was.

SandyY2K · 24/09/2020 18:29

Block the both of them and put it down to experience. Their both lunatics and I can't figure out why he didn't challenge her when she said she wouldn't socialise with you, if he continued seeing you.

Even if you slept around and were clingy, why would that be an issue for her? She's not in a romantic relationship with you.

I think they're both liars and are playing a sick twisted game with you.

saddff · 24/09/2020 18:32

@SandyY2K she was saying this to him because his ex was like that.
She was apparently a narcissist who was jealous etc
So she knew if she told him that he would be away like lightning.
We were together 9 months so not long but it was awful because I never got invited anywhere as she was always there.

OP posts:
saddff · 24/09/2020 18:34

They would all socialise put together but I never got to go as she "couldn't stand to be around me"
At this point she had blocked me on everything.
He said I sound obsessed with her as I'm always trying to turn him against her.
I said I'm not ..I'm trying to prove that's what she's done to me.
She unblocked me to text me
"Leave him alone,he wants nothing more to do with you"

OP posts:
Pollypocket89 · 24/09/2020 18:34

If he'd do that to you after 9 months, he's clearly got issues.

You also don't know his ex was awful, crazy friend may have just don't the same

It's shit, but move on

Run run as fast as you can, you've been giving a huge opportunity to dodge this. He didn't even give you a change to explain so you're lucky, even if you think it was going somewhere.
Fairybatman · 24/09/2020 18:40

Sounds to me like they deserve each other. Hold your head up high and walk away. People like your so called friend always show their true colours in the end and so will she.

saddff · 24/09/2020 18:47

I hope he sees her true colours eventually but then would I want a person who wouldn't give me the benefit of the doubt.
He wouldn't answer his phone then blocked me like a child.
I wrote a text which I thought made sense ..explains why I thought she did it.
Still just said "are you sorry I'm not falling for your bullshit

So he knew you for 9 months? I thought you were talking a few weeks OP.

There's something odd about this, she has some sort of hold over him. Leave them to it.

Ghouliet · 24/09/2020 18:48

You weren’t supposed to like each other. She saw you did and sabotaged you. She’s an nutter but he has bought into her drama and you’re not going to change his mind. His loss. You’re well shot of both of them as would continue to interfere with any relationship you had with him.

Bunnymumy · 24/09/2020 18:49

It sounds like HE has been lying to both if you. Shit stirring to get you to fall out. I mean think about it - all you know for a fact is: he tells you all this shit she has supposedly said about you, she is suddenly distant eith you and you dont know why, and he goes batshit onto for 'being aggressive with her' (talking to her) because he doesnt want you two talking because if you talk, you'll find out HE is the puppetmaster.

Bunnymumy · 24/09/2020 18:51

*goes batshit at you

I think he engendered it op.
He has a 'crazy ex' too. Surprise surprise.

You don't need to convince him of anything. You need to run for the hills from him.

newnameforthis123 · 24/09/2020 18:51

Omg this! I assumed you'd just met and hadn't read it properly. If he thinks that little of you after nine months he's an idiot and gullible. She's a bully and being embarrassingly territorial about a friend because they have a penis and she likely has queen bee syndrome.

You're better off without them both - thank god you found out this early on compared to a few years on, that's the way to look at it.

Onwards and upwards - your aim should be moving on not convincing him of anything or building bridges with her Thanks
