I breastfed two kids too. Sadly mine never seemed to return to their original volume but headed south with additional mass each time.

I’ve been trying on bikinis, taking mirror selfies and making 😟 faces at them since my packages arrived in the post. I think one of the bikini tops might be ok, but I can’t work out if there’s too much nork on display. I’m glad I ordered some board shorts - they cover up some of the squishier bits of me (and bikini bottoms are generally unforgiving).

Going to the beach is worse than getting naked with someone new, I think. It doesn’t help that MrSG is basically a solid lump of muscle and looks good in swim shorts. (Or that men’s swim shorts are generally less revealing than bikini bottoms).

There are some nice looking bikinis on a website called Shein, I think? High waisted bottoms and cute tops that cover more than a bra for sure. Not very expensive, either. Worth a try?

I have two bikinis that I only wear in the garden for vitamin D purposes (yes, I tan myself, I know it's bad but I like how I look with a tan).

If I was to go.out in public in a bikini it would definitely be more substantial.

I haven't work a bikini for a few years now.

I don't think I shouldn't wear one because I love seeing bodies of all shapes and sizes on holiday but I just feel more self confident in a swim suit these days.

Men do have it much easier on the beach!

I've seen the odd old work colleague, but in the last week I've seen a couple of people whos profiles I've viewed in my day to day life. I’m also large of norks and struggle with bikini tops. My go to are those string types with the triangles of fabric as you can tie them as tight as you like around the back/neck. I’m late 40’s and and trying not to give any fucks!

I’ve tried an arena triangle one with a tie back today. But the triangles are teeny tiny and do not hold much in the way of norks. I even measured my chest exactly as the website told me too. Clearly they didn’t think that women’s chests might get more voluminous after the point they said to measure.

It is amazing what you learn about complete strangers on this thread really. What we sleep in. The state of our norks.
