Should I ask the plumber out?

Evening all!
Posting here for traffic & a name change!
I'm having some work done on my house.
The plumber is hot.
I'm a single mum (single for two years) 😱☺️with zero self confidence!
We've been chatting. There's a definite connection. I think.
No wedding ring and no mention of a partner (we have chatted loads)
I almost asked him today and then thought it'll be mortifying if he says no and has to return.
He's confirmed the job is done.
He texted and thanked me for the testimonial and said 'have a wonderful evening'
Should I just message and ask him out? Any tips on wording? 🤔

I don't know if anyone remembers the story of me and the Hot Builder and how he smashed in my staircase (specialities: plumbing and carpentry) but we're still together six years later :)

Strange and nice things happen.

And thanks for the more sceptical comments too!
I haven't asked anyone out in ages.
I will update you when (if!) he responds...

Ooo hope he texts back OP!

If he says no then it's a no. Worth a try. I'm impressed!
