Should I ask the plumber out?

Evening all!
Posting here for traffic & a name change!
I'm having some work done on my house.
The plumber is hot.
I'm a single mum (single for two years) 😱☺️with zero self confidence!
We've been chatting. There's a definite connection. I think.
No wedding ring and no mention of a partner (we have chatted loads)
I almost asked him today and then thought it'll be mortifying if he says no and has to return.
He's confirmed the job is done.
He texted and thanked me for the testimonial and said 'have a wonderful evening'
Should I just message and ask him out? Any tips on wording? 🤔

notenoughbottletonight · 28/05/2019 20:46

There's been many times in the past I wanted to do this but never been brave enough! However I did see me old decorator out about a year ago and snogged him 🤦‍♀️ Good luck op!

Noonemournsthewicked · 28/05/2019 20:46

Absolutely following this. Can't remember what happened to the MNetter who fancied a workman with a missing tooth but it was on a similar vein and a cracking thread.

bobstersmum · 28/05/2019 20:46

I hope he likes you too!

Teaandcrisps · 28/05/2019 20:46

Oh well done- so exciting!!!!

WaitingInTheBushesOfLove · 28/05/2019 20:47

@mamamilkmachine i think OP texted Needtobuildabridge's suggestion or something similar

*Hi MrPlumber,

No worries about the testimonial, it's a reflection of how good the job is! I've enjoyed chatting with you these past few days/weeks and wondered if you fancied going for a coffee/drink/dinner this week to talk more?*

QuickQuestion2019 · 28/05/2019 20:47

GOOD ON YOU OP. Ignore the bitchy instant family comment up thread, some ppl hate to see others making positive choices and taking small risks.

I asked a bloke out a couple of years ago. He said yes, then cancelled. We're mates these days and I don't regret it at all.

tessiegirl · 28/05/2019 20:48

Fingers crossed for you op! Wink

LorelaiRoryEmily · 28/05/2019 20:48

Was it @LineRunner who had the hot builder? It worked out for her.
