So I'm starting a new thread following on from 0I don't know what to do" as we're almost full.
Blimey! How did that happen!

Seems lots of you are rather ruddy marvellous and want to keep going on this journey with me so I'm opening a new chapter.
Will be back with a proper update later 💐

What a twunt he is lollipop, give him enough rope..........

beachygirl · 17/11/2017 11:14

He could lose his job over this (and deserves to), but would he use that as an excuse to wriggle out of his financial responsibilities to your children?

NowApparently · 17/11/2017 11:21

I've missed so much on this thread!

First and foremost, congratulations on the birth of Baby C! Baby C is just gorgeous and I'm so glad to hear the jaundice is on the way out. Wine
My own little Baby E arrived last week at 35 weeks so it's been an adventurous week here too.

Secondly, use your maternal protective instincts to be as bloody feral as you need to be. He's shown time and time again he has no respect for you, so play as dirty as you legally can.

lollipop7 · 17/11/2017 12:38

@Slingsanderrors he’s told me that he would , give up his job and disappear anyway so no guarantees there

No job = no mortgage payments = no home here to take the children too. That’s more important to me.
I’d rather go back to work earlier.

He deserves to be sacked he’s a disgrace.

@NowApparently congratulations on Baby E, hope is all well with a slightly earlier arrival 💐🍾👶🏻❤️

What a cheeky fecker!!!! I wouldn’t hesitate to drop him in the shit.
Unbelievable

wellyclad · 18/11/2017 04:28

What did his employer say? I’m not surprise you’re angry, id be fuming too in the circumstances!
Hope you have a nice weekend with no drama from him and that baby lollipop and the rest of the lollipops are well!

Doublemint · 18/11/2017 18:14

He is a class A ruck isn't he?! I'm rooting for a charge of fraud, him losing his job then him having a total breakdown. Fingers crossed!

Doublemint · 18/11/2017 18:15

*prick not ruck!!!

lollipop7 · 18/11/2017 19:01

I've written the email to send. Spoke to his HR department who told me he's been on PL since this Monday.
They went very quiet when I told them. I've had to put it all in writing and send them which I will do.

Frankly he deserves everything he gets. He won't pay the maintenance anyway he's told me he'd give his job up. So I might as well make sure he loses it.

No word from the Police as to how the interview went.

But did hear from the Court today. The Finding of Fact hearing won't be heard until end of next Match so unless he is stupid enough to go back to court for another contact order then I don't have to worry for a little while.

Oh that's good news, gives you time to recover from having baby lollipop and get your fighting spirit well and truly charged up.

flutterby12 · 18/11/2017 19:47

Just caught up @lollipop7 I wonder what he's doing whilst on 'paternity leave'. What a dick. Hope you and little lolli are well xx

Idontmeanto · 18/11/2017 19:59

Excellent! That gives you a decent recovery time and your new solicitor time to get up to speed, too. Breathe easy and savour your new squish a while, you deserve it!

Ambonsai · 18/11/2017 20:12

Paternity leave!
Speechless

lollipop7 · 18/11/2017 23:52

So the police called me and told me he denied everything
He also came along with a selection of ilicit recordings he made of me crying and shouting at him after he'd engineered dreadful situations at home or done / said something absolutely hideous. Like implying me he got his ex wife pregnant. Or invited people over when I was really ill at home in my pyjamas (had been waiting for blood tests to see what was wrong me with me) and he's been out drinking with them the night before. Or having previously accused me of throwing my son down the stairs.
I've now got to make a statement contextualising the videos to this effect. I've also got emails from him threatening to use them unless I come home.

I would have thought this awful behaviour just screamed of emotional abuse. Apparently it's entirely legal to record someone after having backed them into a corner, terrified them, told them something dreadful or just reduced them to a heap.
I was just thinking things might be a bit less stressful even if only for a day or two.

I guess I was wrong.

holdbackonthewine · 19/11/2017 00:01

Sorry to read that Lollipop. Are the police still being honest brokers though? I imagine it would take more than that to change their view of your horrible ex?

lollipop7 · 19/11/2017 00:10

They've said very little other than they knew he'd deny it. I'd told them about the videos. He's so hateful. I am amazed that someone who has set up scenes based on doing something like saying they want me sectioned and then record the fallout it isn't doing anything other than shooting themselves in the foot. It screams of monstrous emotional abuse and control.

OP posts:
iknowimcoming · 19/11/2017 08:07

I agree Lollipop - he’s just digging a bigger hole for himself - twat! How are the dc? I wondered if your Ds might get a bit of a boost at being the BIG brother now Smile hope you’re recovering as much as you can with a newborn FlowersBear

Mustang27 · 19/11/2017 12:03

Lollipop you are entirely correct and that is exactly what it is. Honestly I feel sick for you. This was the sort of thing my ex would do, he was so calculated but yet played the wounded soldier Hmm there is no words other than I’m not remotely surprised. Who tapes their partner in emotional distress Sad it’s fucking bizarre behaviour.

lollipop7 · 19/11/2017 12:11

I just laid awake until 5am crying, I can’t take any more of this.
I said to the police doesn’t it strike you as utterly disturbing that someone would orchestrate a scenario to the point where their “partner” was so fatigued and fragile by this person’s behaviour then they’d be sat there waiting to record me unravelling. Isn’t that ore abuse and evidence of it. After all it’s like that e hideous trap. I can recall the times he did it and it was always on the back of something so unutterably awful or shocking that I was cornered in a fearful rage.

And to top things off it looks as though my beloved dog will be being destroyed as she bit someone’s finger through the letterbox this week and he came to the house today to tell me he might lose his finger and has been advised to report the dog bite.

It really is never-ending.

OP posts:
AvoidingDM · 19/11/2017 13:01

Oh hugs lollipop.
Who the heck puts their fingers through a letterbox, knowing there's a dog on the other side. I'm assuming the dog isn't able to get his snout to the outside to bite somebody. And the dog would bark hearing somebody on the outside.

GrabbyMcGrabby · 19/11/2017 13:09

Sending you Flowers. Sorry, can't manage a longer message at moment. FlowersFlowers

Gemini69 · 19/11/2017 13:56

Jesus Lolli.... I'm so so sorry... the depths this man is going too to destroy you is literally terrifying.... please stay safe..Flowers

Idontmeanto · 19/11/2017 14:01

Huge hugs Lollipop! Who the hell puts their fingers through the letterbox for a dog to bite?!)
Sounds like you need a rest lovely, make sure you get one. Xx

JaneEyre70 · 19/11/2017 14:08

There is nothing on those recordings other than a terrified abused woman, and a judge is going to see right through him when all your evidence is presented too. Take a depth breath, you know he's going to fight dirty and you can and will get through this Flowers.
