He helped me get dressed after sex...

Has this ever happened to you? Is this a nice thing?
It sort of struck me by surprise; my (ahem) friend got dressed and then helped me get dressed too!
I was a little dumbfounded in the moment to question it and thought it was a little weird once I pondered on it.
Just to clarify, this guy is not a boyfriend, just a (ahem) friend.
Any thoughts?

I'd interpret that as, thanks now get out

Hellofromme · 13/04/2017 18:52

Was he trying to get rid of you?

Bluntness100 · 13/04/2017 18:53

He's either s bit clingy or he was trying to get rid of you. Only you know which,,😂

ZilphasHatpin · 13/04/2017 18:54

What exactly did he do? I am imagining a grown woman putting her arms in the air and him saying "peekaboo" when he popped your jumper over your head. Grin

Maudlinmaud · 13/04/2017 18:55

Maybe he was trying to be erotic and hoping for more

Bobbins43 · 13/04/2017 18:56

Was it like a sexy buttoning up your shirt, thanks for the shag, let's do it again sometime thing?

Badhairday1001 · 13/04/2017 18:56

It sounds like he was trying to get rid of you.

misskelly · 13/04/2017 18:56

Has he got kids? When mine were young I was so used to man handling them in to coats I did it to my mum once, zipped her in and everythinG.

MrsPeelyWaly · 13/04/2017 18:57

I think he was extending the intimacy of your love making.

MrsJayy · 13/04/2017 18:58

Actually still giggiling at peekabo 😁 Maybe he thinks it is romantic or he thinks he knackered you out and youcan't manage toget dressed, either way its odd, did he wriggle you into your trousers and button you up?

RedStripeIassie · 13/04/2017 19:00

zilphis Grin

thetreesarebare · 13/04/2017 19:01

Zilphashatpin that made me lol! Not sure what I would think of that situation either. Think it was maybe a you had to be there moment to interpret.

KRGP · 13/04/2017 19:01

Bobbins43 Yes! It was just that! Sorry I should've clarified.
He wasn't trying to get rid of me but it was really gentle and lovey-dovey. Definitely NOT (ahem) buddy-type behaviour I was expecting. I'm not even sure what I'm asking but does it mean he actually likes me in a non-buddy way? I'm confused!

Bwhahahaha...he's a friend with benefits, I doubt they were making love..😂

Op, yes if he was being all lovey dovey I'd say he likes you more than just FWB. Do you feel the same?

MrsJayy · 13/04/2017 19:06

Depends on how long you have been having sex for maybe he is after a relationship or just felt right for an intimate act still weird though. I saw it in a film once the dressing afterwards

SparklyMagpie · 13/04/2017 19:06

If don't think he was trying to get rid of you then I'd think he possibly has feelings

What's your relationship normally?

KRGP · 13/04/2017 19:06

I had my back to him and he came over and helped me do my the top button of my jeans just as I'd finished zipping them up. He then actually helped me put my top on and it was when he did my buttons up for me that I thought, hang on, this is weird. I sort of froze and just let him carry on. Also, he gave me a full on goodbye kiss that I didn't expect from a (ahem) friend...

Bobbins43 · 13/04/2017 19:06

Yeah, I've had that before. And done it. It can be quite nice :)

Lucky you with the friend sex. Enjoy!

Maudlinmaud · 13/04/2017 19:07

Was that eyes wide shut MrsJayy? Grin total shite wasn't it?

SparklyMagpie · 13/04/2017 19:10

He's into you

But how do you feel about him OP?

Chwaraeteg · 13/04/2017 19:11

I think this sounds lovely! Maybe he likes taking care of people?

Floggingmolly · 13/04/2017 19:17

Here's your hat, what's your hurry... Did he open the door for you when he'd got you dressed and shove you through? Grin

KRGP · 13/04/2017 19:21

I only learned recently that he'd looked at me in 'that (ahem) way' in the last couple months; we've worked together for just under a year now.
How do I feel? Well, thing wasn't an impulsive decision; it was well talked out and agreed that it was just sex and that we both shouldn't expect for it to go further.
Fine by me! He's smoking hot and a friend and just what I need right now...
but the whole buttoning up sweetness has made me ponder and for all my googling if what he did was normal as I've never had it happen before!

I like watching someone get dressed but can't imagine doing anything other than buttoning up their shirt and smoothing out the creases, in lieu with them doing the same thing. Followed by a deep and meaningful kiss.

Now helping with knickers/underpants, that's a different creepy thing altogether.

Cantusethatname · 13/04/2017 19:27

Bless you, why are you so surprised by a man you have had sex with showing some tenderness towards you?
