I'm watching my daughter and partner playing together and it's so beautiful. I've been cheating on him for nearly two years.

Oh dear, why did you start this thread?

Italiangreyhound · 29/12/2016 17:07

Are you planning on sorting this out or just carrying on?

randomeragain · 29/12/2016 17:07

are you enjoying the cheating

Whatslovegottodo · 29/12/2016 17:07

What do you want out of this thread?

user1483018975 · 29/12/2016 17:07

What do you want us to say?
Continue or end it!

Ohdearducks · 29/12/2016 17:08

Then stop. You have a choice.

PurpleDaisies · 29/12/2016 17:08

What do you propose to do about it?

Amandahugandkisses · 29/12/2016 17:08

You are not evil. There are reasons why we do things. Stop being dramatic and make a change if you must.

Fallonjamie · 29/12/2016 17:08

You're not evil but you need to sort your shit out and stop feeling sorry for yourself.

RacoonBandit · 29/12/2016 17:09

2 years is a long time. You need to be honest with him.

RainbowCrash4321 · 29/12/2016 17:09

Because they both deserve better than me. Yes I am enjoying the cheating.

frauleinsallybowles · 29/12/2016 17:10

prepare to be flayed op

Shockers · 29/12/2016 17:10

Maybe this moment is your epiphany.

If he finds out, all of your lives will be shattered.

talkingtoclarry · 29/12/2016 17:11

Well you either stop or get ready for the catastrophic fallout when you get found out.

wherearemymarbles · 29/12/2016 17:11

I think hq should just delete the thread. Dont feed the monkey.

gettingtherequickly · 29/12/2016 17:16

Oh don't be so fucking melodramatic.

Two years and you've only just figured your actions might cause them pain?

Ilovecaindingle · 29/12/2016 17:17

Is your partner her dad?

TheoriginalLEM · 29/12/2016 17:17

Why are you cheating though? are you not happy? it sounds like you have very low self esteem and would benefit from some counselling. I read it like it is almost a form of self harm. You are not evil, you might be self centred and weak but evil? come on!! If you were in any way evil you would feel no remorse for hurting your loved ones.

You have the power to stop this and turn things around. You have the power to stop cheating and end your marriage if it isn't happy, you have the power to stop cheating and work on your marriage (whether you come clean is a matter for your own conscience) or you leave your partner and child or just your partner and continue with the new person{if that is an option]

You don't have to continue to do this - you can take control and make the right decision.

You know you are doing wrong, it is hurting you to continue to do this. Take control.

SoleBizzz · 29/12/2016 17:19

Are you male or female?

ElornaElephant · 29/12/2016 17:20

Do him a favour - confess all and leave him, and soon. It recently came out that my father had an affair - it all came out after a year of separation from my mother due to his EA, but this has been the greatest betrayal of them all. Please spare your little girl the pain of going through this as an adult as I am.

NotTheFordType · 29/12/2016 17:23

Welcome to Mumsnet, OP Biscuit

Maudlinmaud · 29/12/2016 17:26

Yes that's quite bad, wouldn't say evil. But it's not very nice.

ohdofeckoffnowdear · 29/12/2016 17:48

Your husband and daughter deserve better.

BubblingUp · 29/12/2016 17:55

Evil is a strong word. You aren't evil. Foolish, selfish, reckless, entitled, yes. Evil, no.

Scrubbles · 29/12/2016 18:01

If you're a bloke you're definitely evil. If you're a woman it's probably more complicated than that. Wink
