He doesn't know I know he is really shy about things and this sometimes affects our sex life because when we are on vacation he doesn't have time alone and we have LOTS of sex its great, but back home again 2-3 times per week and he does hisself in between?

I guess it makes me feel like a failure, I wouldn't mind joining in but he's so damn shy and private about everything, he's very restricted and closed when it comes to sex, quiet, nonverbal, doesn't like talking about anything, I'm really fed up with the lack of open communication! If he would be open with me about things it would be totally different, I think he actually likes it too much.

That's how I feel, like a failure, I just don't measure up to the "hand" so to speak. I think he wanks too much because when he refrains, our sex life is great, he's nice and hard and gets off great but when he does it too much, he can hardly get an erection and takes forever to get off and it's rather frustrating!!! Should I talk to him about this, nothing will change unless I do but how do you bring up such a touchy situation without embarassing him?

It doesn't have to be all about not wanting their partner, it can be a comfort/stress relief thing when you just need to be alone sometimes.
My dh doesn't have the time, I often have to remind him to knock one out if we've been having a really busy week and no sex! I also find it a turn on.

sasa15, EVERY guy wanks, my guy is only in the bathroom for 3 minutes and I didn't think he did either, until I found the lotion on the counter and the damn kleenex on the floor where he missed. Everytime your man is in the bathroom is an opportunity, lol. We just don't know about it unless we stumble across it or catch them, because I thought mine did not either!
