My dh has a high sex drive and suggested we try swinging. I said yes to make him happy buy after a lot of thought I told him I couldn't go through with it he said ok, he loved him and has been touchy feely with me since I got home from work.

I found him looking through a swingers website and he thought I meant I couldn't go through with it but he could! I put him straight and now he's acting cold and mad at me. We have been married almost 4 years and since the kids have come along I have become less and less my bubbly self according to my best friend and I totally agree. I have no idea what's wrong with me or what to do

I am quite flattered that OM is giving such a lot of notice to my posts. I would say they bear repeating Wink

That might be too insightful, or even helpful AF. The menz don't seem to like that.

It does not sound as though this man has the vaguest clue about love, commitment and loyalty - and what it means to be a responsible partner and parent.

Sad though it is for you to see your hopes and dreams melt away, you will in the long run be better off without him. Take courage. Your children need a better father than this and a better role model.

Well that seems to have backfired on him.

He ain't so cocky and 'in control' now .

It sounded like a revenge fantasy, and very little to do with you entering the world of swinging as a mutual couple seeking mutual pleasure.

I bet in his head he imagined you pinned to the bar in horror and embarrassment as you watched him poke his way down a line of sex hungry women, to teach you a lesson for having that kiss.

In reality it'd be the other way round. Women are far more popular in these situations than men.

Tell him you will go swinging, but to separate clubs on the same night. See how he feels.

Or just divorce him, he's playing with your emotions way too much. A supportive partner would completely understand their other half getting the last minute wobbles and backing out, not sulk and threaten to divorce them. It's a big step even in a secure relationship. Let alone one as shattered and fractious as yours.

So sorry op. This isn't happiness. Find yours Flowers
