Trolls

I know there was a thread about this just a couple of weeks, but just want to remind us all to think before investing time and emotion - and most importantly personal information and experiences - on threads in Relationships. Especially if it's something triggering for you.

This board is being infiltrated by trolls at the moment.

If the OP is over egged, if the OP is too 'bad' to be true, if it reads like a soap opera with convenient updates every couple of hours to keep people entertained, then it's likely not true!

A few odd things at the moment, threads that should be deleted after 30 days still standing nearly 2 months later. Full threads carrying on to 1015 posts.
I thought these things happened automatically, apparently not.

I think it's because there have been so many trolls over the last few days on here, MNHQ didn't want to jump all over it, they don't want to be seen shutting down threads left right and centre. It's not great for Mumsnet for the one of the most sensitive boards on the site to be infiltrated with trolls and they don't want some kind of meltdown.

Yes of course there are people who just want to shit stir, upset, annoy. You only have to read the Mail Online! Half the posters on there are trolls. There again the Mail Online is just one big trolling operation. Posting outrageous and provocative opinion to get reaction and more clicks so they can get more advertising.

My current NN Is taken from a troll thread in Relationships. The one where the OP's H wanted the OW to wear the OP's wedding dress while they shagged. That was where it all fell apart. The thread, not the dress.

Post thread deletion, there was then a spoof thread that was really very funny. I've kept the tongue in cheek NN.

Fuck it. It's Blue14. I reported her twice for different things. She's been dealt with.

I suspect PBP. She's been like a rash the past two days.

I knew she was a fecking liar and a troll (see me arguing with her earlier in thread), especially with her denials of trolls on here.
