First Date - Terrified!

I've arranged to go on a date with a man I've been chatting to on Tinder for a few weeks. He seems nice and looks good on photos apart from the fact that he covers his mouth on most of them so I'm wondering what that's about. I'll never know unless I meet him!

It's my first date since my ex and I broke up a year ago and I'm so, so nervous! We're going for a couple of drinks which should break the ice a little. Does anyone have any first date tips?

Booking your Saturday night (so you can't make any other plans) and then saying he can't meet you til after 9 is RUDE, IMO.

Well the pilot was very nice. He offered to take me on a night flight next weekend for my birthday with some champagne . He's very down to earth even though he's clearly rich.

BUT... I don't know whether I fancy him he wants to see me again later but I'm not sure!

He does seem a bit overly keen. I've said no to seeing him again today but I don't know about the flight thing. It seems a bit full on for a second date! And weird to get on a plane with someone I've only just met.

Sounds like he's been watching Millionaire Matchmaker, that's the kind of dates they go on! I think it's worth a second date but I think you're right to be wary of the flight.

I'd tell him that, but keep it light. Tell him you like to keep your feet firmly on the floor for the first few dates

If I've understood this right, he's a trainee pilot - so would presumably have an instructor with him if he takes you for a flight next weekend? I certainly wouldn't go otherwise!
