RumTumTuggeress · 26/08/2015 14:53

I've had it. I've caved. I'm sick of being nice to idiots and bullies, i'm sick of not being able to tell them them to go fuck themselves. So here I am.

RainbowFlutterby · 26/08/2015 14:59

The Dark Side?

Have you come from the sparkly place?

Wine Cake

RumTumTuggeress · 26/08/2015 15:07

Yes. Any longer and i'd have turned into Mrs Bouquet.

OP posts:
MrsEvadneCake · 26/08/2015 15:09

Have a Brew and welcome. Smile

RumTumTuggeress · 26/08/2015 15:29

Smilingforth · 26/08/2015 15:46

Grin please tell us your story.....
The darker the better!

MephistophelesApprentice · 26/08/2015 15:49

Literally just laughed out loud.

Mumsnet is the dark side? Explains why I feel so oddly comfortable here.

I'm trying to imagine what the 'Light side' must be like.

ImperialBlether · 26/08/2015 15:51

Have you not been over to see the opposition, Mephistopheles? It's fucking awful. Sparkly bits all over the place and people saying things like hun and babes and bubs and hubby.

ThisIsFolkGirl · 26/08/2015 15:52

Haha, that's really funny. I actually thought you were going to say you'd had enough of all the LTB feminist shite on MN and were heading over to The Sparkly Place. Grin

Welcome!!

lunar1 · 26/08/2015 15:53

Welcome to the dark side...we have cookies, and we'll never call you Hun.

wickedlazy · 26/08/2015 15:58

Welcome Grin

Have a Brew and Cake.

And use the word fuck as often as you like.

Don't think we're the dark side, think we're the it's not a spade it's a fucking shovel variety. It's fucking BUCK-IT not bouquet. If she didn't like it why not keep her maiden name? Oh yes, because she's a mumsnet bingo players wet dream.

Please tell me you've caught up on mn bingo?!

RumTumTuggeress · 26/08/2015 16:01

Haha. Well nothing much to tell really. There was just a post related to naming your child unusual names and how if you do that then you don't 'love' your child. I have chosen quite an unusual name so I took offense and I just said that basically your name doesn't define who you are.

Well that was it and the bitches swarmed in telling me that I wasn't considering my child's future blah blah. My baby's not even born yet!
I'm on an official warning for something else and I could feel myself getting ate up so I just left them to it. It's the same women wherever I go quoting me like stalkers.

kittybiscuits · 26/08/2015 16:02

I read a lot about getting your foof waxed ready for childbirth. I was like WTAF....

BishopBrennansArse · 26/08/2015 16:03

It's only dark because of the lack of glittery tickers Wink

LeonC · 26/08/2015 16:05

Yo RumTum!
Glad to meet you in the Mumsnet Massive.....
(leaves exhausted by bonhomie and yoof idiom)

AllThatGlistensIs · 26/08/2015 16:06

Ugh. Yet again I'll say, that place is like a bad acid trip in strawberry shortcake land.

Fucking vile.

Welcome! You won't be inundated with huns, lolz and kisses here, but you will get straight answers and on the whole a fab bunch of people.

There's a few arseholes, but feel free to air your opinions when they pop up Grin

GilbertBlytheWouldGetIt · 26/08/2015 16:10

Hi, welcome, and go fuck yourself! Grin Only joking, but you can tell me to go swivel any time you like.

TheGingerBreadWoman · 26/08/2015 16:10

I just tried the other place and my work access has it blocked!!! They are clearly steering me in the right direction!! Lol

wickedlazy · 26/08/2015 16:11

Oh god, that sounds awful.

Go on _classics and have a nosey, and you'll see what we're all about. I usually float between boards, and usually just read aibu. Comment most often in relationships. Never been cyber stalked, just exchanged Biscuit on a few threads. And people name change so often (not me, i'm quite attached to this name now), it's usually quite annonymous (although if suspected of trolling, posters may look you up to see if you seem legit).

RumTumTuggeress · 26/08/2015 16:12

I joined here a couple of months back but it seemed to have been broken lately, hackers or something. I noticed some of you guys came over to say hi Grin.

I'm not really a swearer but I've never wanted to say the word fuck so much since being on that candy coated dildo site. Last night someone was accusing a poster of killing her baby on a termination thread so I told her to sod off.
Moderator damn it Janet messaged me saying 'your wording was not appropriate' WTF. It wasn't really suppose to be but whatever.

Thanks for the warm hunless welcome! Grin

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 26/08/2015 16:12

what is/was the name ? Wink

ShortandSweeter · 26/08/2015 16:16

seriously, is there really that much of a dictinction between NM and MN users? It all looks the same to me.

wickedlazy · 26/08/2015 16:16

Lol it really is like stepping into an online stepford. The only thing I get is being so uber organised for christmas (because I would like to be like this), and going way overboard because i'm guilty of panicking I didn't get ds enough and going overboard buying shite, but not this year! . Otherwise, I don't get it. The tickers and profile pictures and stuff. Confused

beardsrock · 26/08/2015 16:16

Candy coated dildo (grin)

You fit right in here!

RumTumTuggeress · 26/08/2015 16:16

The one I just left was called 'Chavvy Names'. Biscuit

MrWriter · 26/08/2015 16:18

Ooh welcome! I stumbled over to nm when mn was down and it was a frighteningly glittery place, scary scary stuff!

I don't post very often here, but am part of pregnancy threads and am working my way through the classics!
