I've had it. I've caved. I'm sick of being nice to idiots and bullies, i'm sick of not being able to tell them them to go fuck themselves. So here I am.

It all seemed pretty tame to me. I can't even work out who you are Hmm

Anyway, welcome to MN.

RumTumTuggeress · 29/08/2015 03:24

Well I found some of the attitudes on the thread disgusting myself but that's just my opinion and I've had a bad experience numerous times with the same women so maybe that's why it's harder for others to see what I mean.

Thanks to everyone that has welcomed me on here. Nice to see. Wine

BTW a lot of the comments on that thread have been edited by the mods so it does look tame at the mo.

I had a panic this morning. I joined the sparkly place when this place was down recently. Today I posted on a thread and to my horror it put my Facebook profile picture up next to my name. Anyone know how I can get rid of that if I go there again during mn downtime?

Ahh yes, of course the heavy handed deletions!

Chelle used to follow me around deleting my posts for anything little. She hated me.

I once tried to discuss it with her. I said someone was disgusting and ignorant for telling a woman that if she is scared of being wolf whistled at in the street due to previous sexual abuse she should cover up and wear baggy clothes etc. I couldn't believe my post was deleted while hers was left to stand. When I tried to have it out with Chelle she said I needed to think about my posting style or i'll be banned. Hmm

I wanted to know how someone can tell a victim of sexual abuse to cover up if wolf whistling scares her was left to stand but calling someone disgusting and ignorant wasn't. Apparently it is against the rules to say what I did but victim blaming isn't.

RumTumTuggeress · 29/08/2015 12:10

I have that all of the time. I've learnt to be careful what I write even when sticking up for someone because I know what the mods are like but I always forget what can and cant be said to a bully Smile.

It was Chelle who edited the thread I was on she removed most of the nasty things they were saying to me but low and behold mine are still there. So I look like a crazy person ranting to myself.

I've spent all of 10 mins of my life on NM, I checked it out before joining here a couple of summers ago after a knee op.

My general, admittedly fleeting, impression was that everyone was a bit thick.

Notasinglefuckwasgiven · 29/08/2015 16:31

It can be funny....A lady once said on a nm thread, " it's ok none of my 5 kids dads are on their birth certificates! " totally honest and harmless but they piled on like she'd said she puts bangers up cats arses! Her opinions instantly became wrong with that comment pasted above....bun fight of the year Grin

I always imagine the mods are like Doris Umbrage (sp) in HP. All pink and cuddly, but ready with a vicious spell if you disagree.

RumTumTuggeress · 29/08/2015 21:33

NM have an honesty phobia.

I'd love to see a few of the members there on Big Brother. Now that would be interesting.
