I've had it. I've caved. I'm sick of being nice to idiots and bullies, i'm sick of not being able to tell them them to go fuck themselves. So here I am.

badtime I wouldn't mind if I asked them for their opinions but I didn't. I was on a different thread also offering another OP name suggestions and mentioned i'd chosen a name that was a bit 'out there' then one of them said 'Well if you love your kids why would you give bullies ammunition by choosing an out there name' I felt like smacking her.

it was before I found mn. I was a new and baffled mother, desperate and bleary eyed... I was looking for support.

but they were just all so obsessed with routines and getting "lil bubs" bathed and in bed and settling himself at 3 weeks old.

made me feel like such a failure. mn was much more realistic and genuinely helpful, rather than head-tilting and saying things like "aw it's hard isn't it hun".

I joined there years ago but made some remark about needing to get my toddler ready and they were like "IT'S MIDDAY!" and "me and my little prince have already had our grapefruit and been to pilates". Meh...he was fine in his pjs watching a bit of TV with an ice lolly ha

I couldn't resist having another little look at that chavvy name thread- they are so pretentious it's unreal. Anyone who says "I resent such an implication" when discussing names is a wally. End of.

Yep more realistic over here. Our kids make clay cock, swallow diesel, shit themselves in public during our attempts to toilet train and do you know what? That's motherhood. And we embrace it

I think that thread is tame. You could get a lot worse here tbh and if a few women commenting negatively can wind you up, you're best just hiding the thread really. And don't ever venture into mn baby names.

Dickheads wind me up. It wasn't my thread but it's no one's business what I call my kid, they need to seriously get a fucking life. I don't make threads on baby names I just offer suggestions. They crucified some poor bloke on a different thread and there's just no need.

I'm sure some decent people out there can say they don't like a name without calling someone a bad parent. I'll certainly be staying away from the baby name threads on here if it's anything like that. Haven't got the patience to watch anyone treat a poster the way they did and i'm not even talking about me, I can handle them i'm just sick of bein reported for standing up for myself.

Haven't been reported once on here so just goes to show how clicky it is over there. I love a good debate guys. Just not one that involves stuck up pricks.

And so it should be that way usual I have never told anybody to fuck off either over here or there but I have had personal attacks aimed at me.
I am quite aware of the rules here I joined over a month ago but it's been broken. I'll stand up for myself if anybody insults me just as I'm sure you would do the same if someone called you a bad parent.
