Anyone know whatever happened to Cogitoergosometimes?
I thought she was very insightful and helpful in relationships.

Yes - she was a name that really stood out to me when I first joined MN (in 2012).

Agreed, Cogito has left a hole in MN! I wondered about name changing, usual , but can't see any poster exhibiting the same combination of wisdom and kindness that she did.

Maybe she ran away with the DHL courier.

Has there been a MN purge?

I miss her measured and honest responses full of common sense and logic. I hope she's ok.

She's definitely missed. If she's changed names then I've not recognised her.

She did got AWOL for a while but she's definitely back, I've seen her commenting on recent threads

So glad she's back, I always liked to picture her and AnyFucker as the same person, so often saying the same thing, but the method of delivery was completely different!

Great posters and taught me a lot. MN wouldn't be the same without them, like FWR without Buffy...

Sadly I don't think she is back - did an Advanced Search for posts from 1st of June and nothing comes up. There's someone with a similar name but IMHO not the same poster!

Keep - your observations about AF being an alterego are brilliant - the two posters on MN who always hit the nail on the head. (I fantasise that AF is in fact Janet Street-Porter!)

I don't know where she is either. Some people just seem to disappear for reasons of their own. I don't think she has name changed.

Used to be another poster called Dahlen who's gone as well. Think they gave decent advice too if I remember rightly.

'Izzyizin' is another one who suddenly disappeared a year or so back. I guess we'll never know why.
