Anyone know whatever happened to Cogitoergosometimes?
I thought she was very insightful and helpful in relationships.

There have been a few regulars like Buffy in feminism that have vanished recently. Whatgowaan?

I was remembering Izzy too, WATS

Dowser · 28/06/2015 18:28

Maybe she's writing a novel. I noticed I hadn't seen her around much either.

AllThatGlistens · 28/06/2015 18:30

Yes it's been a long time since I've seen Izzy post, such a shame.

Hope Cog pops back up again.

Wherediditallgoright · 28/06/2015 18:34

She often used to be the first poster on a relationships thread. I don't think she's name changed.

Wouldn't it be good if MNHQ could find out if she was ok and let us know. I don't expect it's within their remit.

MadeMan · 28/06/2015 18:43

Three astronauts have returned to Earth recently after a delay, so if she pops back soon then we might be able to put a lid on where she's been.

AgathaF · 28/06/2015 18:55

I think Izzy is still around but with a partial name change. Either that or she's someone completely different, so that covers both angles Grin.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 28/06/2015 19:19

Yes, I've missed Cog too, her presence was really comforting.

I asked her once if it annoyed her when people called her Cognito and she said no, it was her own silly fault for having a poncy name.

Typical.

cheapskatemum · 28/06/2015 19:24

Cogito and Dahlen pretty much saved my sanity a couple of years ago (I spelt Cogito correctly, but managed to call Dahlen Darleen - D'oh!). I still repeat to myself their sage advice when my mind goes down the same old, well worn tracks. Come back soon, the pair of you!

Shitmyhairdressersays · 28/06/2015 20:08

I LOVE Cog and Anyfucker.

Really wish they were my friends in 'real life'.

mrstweefromtweesville · 28/06/2015 20:26

I don't love Cog or AnyFucker, though I did value the advice Cog gave.
I hadn't noticed Cog had gone.
I did notice that pocketsaviour is around a lot.

MadeMan · 28/06/2015 20:55

PocketSaviour would make a good name for a Jesus advice App; something a bit like Siri, but holier.

AnyFucker · 28/06/2015 21:10

that's a nice thing to say, SHHDS (great name, btw)

you would really want Cogito on your side, that is for sure

AnyFucker · 28/06/2015 21:10

*SMHDS

AnyFucker · 28/06/2015 21:11

PocketSaviour is a great poster too, but she has a different bias (and another fab name)

chocoraisin · 28/06/2015 21:13

Cog and AF were sage listeners in 2012 when I appeared. I hope the disappearance is because life is so busy with good stuff she's off having fun!

midnightvelvetPart2 · 28/06/2015 21:19

Cog, onetiredmummy and Lewiji (sp ) helped me with my thread under a name change a couple of years ago.

I only see Lewiji around now.

PeppermintPasty · 28/06/2015 21:28

Yes, cogito absolutely tops. I came on this thread hoping it was a celebratory one to say someone had found her posting again Sad

I remember sound stuff from izzy too.

Plus, itsmeandmypuppynow, I always seem to remember her. She posted a lot on the stately homes thread. Wonder where she went.

SilenceOfTheSAHMs · 28/06/2015 21:37

I imagine AF as a very smart lawyer type.
I imagine cog as a yoga pants wearing trendy mum with a Starbucks coffee in her hand.
Must spend less time imagining silly things.
Hope cog is well.

handfulofcottonbuds · 28/06/2015 21:38

mammadiggingdeep was my saviour - she lurks and I wish her the best of happiness Smile

So many posters don't realise how much they help us.

I love AF too but would never tell her that Wink

MilliVanilliTinyWilly · 28/06/2015 21:44

I miss Vicar. If you're out there Mario is a cunt darling.

rumred · 28/06/2015 21:46

I admire cogito. I admire women who are brave, intelligent and kind. And generous with their advice. There's a few on here and she was one of them

Nevercallmehun · 28/06/2015 21:54

Cog is fab. She was really kind to me on a thread once when everyone else was giving me pelters.

schlong · 28/06/2015 22:05

I hung out on the politics board back in 2011 after having my first dc under different name and locked horns with her often as she's a total Tory but I'd noticed since returning to MN (birth of second dc natch) on relationships she seemed more reasonable and socialistic! Ha if anything will get her out of the woodwork it's being accused of being a lefty.

sherlocksteacup · 28/06/2015 22:30

I also miss Cog and think AF is brilliant. They were like yin and yang. AF: are you JsP? Gwaan tell us - we won't tell anyone else will we?

SolitudeSometimesIs · 28/06/2015 22:48

AF can't be JSP. I LOVE AF, not so much JSP.

I think the wise posters on the relationships board help way more people than those who post.

And for that I'm grateful!
