Just found ladies pants in my laundry basket

Just took washing out of machine and there is a pair of ladies plain black M&S cotton pants! At the moment I am stunned, shocked and feel numb. I am trying hard not to cry but I don't know what is going on. I took the DC away on fri night and DH was also out and stayed in london with a couple of work colleagues. Am I right in thinking 2 + 2 = 4? What would you think, help, I am going crazy and don't know how to tackle this.

Am I the only one reading bh last post, and feeling it doesn't ring true? The style of writing and the complete turnaround just don't seem to fit with all her previous posts...[hmmm]

Or am I just being too cynical?

emsiewill · 06/11/2006 15:33

that was meant to be

piglit · 06/11/2006 15:35

I agree emsiewill.

emsiewill · 06/11/2006 15:39

glad it's not just me.

FWIW I think the whole thing probably was innocent (dd's friend's mum's pants), but still, bh said that she feels he is manipulative and controlling, and he calls her mad and paranoid...

piglit · 06/11/2006 15:43

Perhaps her dh wrote that last post. Totally different style and language. Or perhaps I am way too cynical and need to get out more.

Not saying it wasn't her who wrote it, just wondering whether she had been a little 'brainwashed'

Dottydot · 06/11/2006 17:00

I thought that...

Its true, I promise you, and I changed my name for the thread.

Glad it all ended ok.

When I lived with 4 other people as a student we usually ended up with something belonging to someone else mixed in with our clean washing & we didn't do mixed loads of washing. I think I remember embarassing occasions of the more sensible bloke finding clean teeny thongs that had fallen behind things in the utility room too

& I even found a random ring under my bed on one occasion! (Unfortunately not an expensive one, but have no idea how it got there!)
