Hello, I'm Mouse Smile

This is the brave babes bus, Gerald. He travels far and wide, to wherever he's needed to offer non judgemental support, advice and Opal Fruits!!

We can tell you about the kind of places that can help, your GP can be the first and easiest place to start, or you can look up you local community addiction centre, or even just come onto the thread and let it all out.

There are posters here who have been on the Bus from the start and those who have just joined us Smile

It doesn't matter how long you've been here, the fact that you have taken that first amazing step in acknowledging that maybe, just maybe, things aren't quite right with your drinking is truly MASSIVE!!

This is a safe place for you to just be and to be as honest as you like, or just to talk.

We'll listen Smile

And if you'd like to see our last thread, you can JUST HERE

Plus if you'd like to see where these threads all began, you can read all about that YOU CAN READ THIS VERY EMOTIONAL AND MOVING THREAD

See you soon,

Mouse xxx Smile

My last pup ate all my shoes Sweet. As a result i am a flip-flopper. (My last pup is an adult dog - nothing like Browning's duchess Smile)

fevversbetterout · 09/03/2015 14:05

Ma,"Hearts starve as well as bodies; give us bread, but give us roses!" Hope you find a fine chiel of a roofer. Wink

fevversbetterout · 09/03/2015 15:29

I'm in Asia, hence the very out of sync postings. We are having a Hammer House of Horror type thunderstorm here. Such a relief as it is sooo hot. I'm on the runners, but next time I post, I'll be trying to squeeze my bum onto a seat. Mouse sorry you are having a hard time. Your posts drew me on here as though you were laying a trail of crumbs. Thankyou x

SweetLathyrus · 09/03/2015 15:58

Grin Hmm Fevvers our first casualty/fatality was DS's Mac Book charging lead. All the shoes have been locked away. I love thunder storms, especially big tropical ones, we had some super ones on holiday in Florida in August.

Khalisi, you are awesome. There's no time to pick up a drink with all that exercise Smile hope you're feeling better today.

It been a dull overcast day here. And I have to admit that I was really thinking about a glass of wine at lunchtime. Think it's a PMS thing. Got through it by putting the kettle on and drinking mint tea.

fevversbetterout · 09/03/2015 16:19

Sweet, this storm has been quite the grumpy terror, raging for an hour, and now just grumbling The dogs are snuggling and the menopausal wifie has stopped sweating for a bit.

babyjane1 · 09/03/2015 16:26

Hi babes,

A very busy day today and I'm pooped and it's not even teatime. I'm getting weighed tomorrow and that means I'm trying not to stuff my face. I slept on the couch last night due to dd2 falling asleep in my bed with International snoring champion of the world dh!!! Woke up on the couch and the bloody cat had been eating my eyelash extensions! Yes nibbling my friggin eyelashes whilst I was I was sleeping!!! I look very strange today, my life is like a reality show sometimes, a very strange and rudiculous one, you could nae make it up.

Anyway plodding on through the weirdness that is my life xxx

fevversbetterout · 09/03/2015 16:33

Hi baby, since this is my last pished post, I'll confess to waking up to find a tiny kitten on my tit. We both survived.

Khalisi · 09/03/2015 16:34

OMG baby!!!
Grin Grin Grin

Are you killing me?! (as my three year old DN would say)!

OMG!!! I'm looking very foolish laughing my bloody head off!!!

Blush sorry.
Grin Grin Grin

fevversbetterout · 09/03/2015 16:35

Actually, that scenario had nothing to do with alcohol, but it's not the sort of thing you bring up at dinner parties/primary school conferences.

Khalisi · 09/03/2015 16:38

xp fevvers what the hell?! It was actually sucking on your nipple, was it?! Shock
And what is a pished post?!
This bus is the craziest place ever!!!
Still can't stop laughing!

Khalisi · 09/03/2015 16:40

Sweet I hope you sleep with a bra!

baby sorry, but I still can't stop!!
Pricilla Queen of the Desert! Grin

fevversbetterout · 09/03/2015 16:46

Khalisi. Someone brought us a tiny kitten (long backstory, for a night where we have a bonfire and marshmallows on sticks and hankies and somewhere for the contact lens wearers to plink them out when it is all too much) Anyhoo, the wee bugger was not healthy and we were living in a v. cold place, so we took her into bed with us, in case she popped her clogs. Woke up with her "attached".

fevversbetterout · 09/03/2015 16:47

khalisi, pished means not AF.

SweetLathyrus · 09/03/2015 17:16

OMG!!!

Animals are as good as childbirth for removing any last shred of embarrassment!

Khalisi, Baby, Fevvers, yet another good reason my bedroom is a no-pet zone.

Pup has finally gone to sleep so I can make dinner. So you all have to stop distracting me and save the hilarity for later!

fevversbetterout · 09/03/2015 17:35

Sweet, glad to hear pup has gone to sleep. I've made my odd confession, but I'd prefer to remain fevvers rather than become kit-tit. That's ok, yes? Post-childbirth protusions can wait for another day, I'm sure.

SweetLathyrus · 09/03/2015 17:48

Promise kittit Fevvers Grin

fevversbetterout · 09/03/2015 17:51

Cheeky quine. Hope the wee one eats your shoes Wink

dementedma · 09/03/2015 19:42

What ARE you all on today? Grin
Have to go out to the bloody airport tonight to pick up dd1. Could do without it but will at least be AF.
My best friend phone me very late last night in tears. She had gone to visit her mother and found her dead in her chair! What a dreadful shock. My poor friend. She is always there to fix me and I can't fix this for her. I'm hurting for her....

SweetLathyrus · 09/03/2015 19:58

Ma how terrible for your poor friend.

Hope DDs flight is on time.

I'm pooped from following Pup around, house training has only had limited success today. He finds the garden too interesting to pee in Confused. Fingers crossed he sleeps through Only Connect.

aliasjoey · 09/03/2015 20:21

Hello Babes

well day 1 again, and I'm planning to go for a whole week this time (or even longer...?)

sweets can we have daily puppy updates, please?!

babyjane1 · 09/03/2015 20:32

My mum is on holiday and has just sent me a picture of the fake converse she bought me in the oddest colours I've ever seen in my life!!! They don't even make converse in the f....n colours. Let's just say they will match my current freaky appearance . Nae wunner I drank!!!

ma I'm so sorry for your friend xxx

babyjane1 · 09/03/2015 20:37

dementedma · 09/03/2015 21:05

"I hear fevvers is quite generous with her t--s"
Snorting with laughter...only on this bus could you read something like that!
Where oh where is wry
Blowing a hooley out there. Dd is in for a bumpy landing!

Fairenuff · 09/03/2015 21:17
