Hello, I'm Mouse Xmas Smile

Welcome to the Bus, he's called Gerald.... he takes us up and down and this wondrous land, searching high and low for Babes in need of some support, a warm place to sit and chat, and to have someone to listen to them.

So, grab a seat as we swing by your way. There's lots of hot drinks, food and fleeces, places to just be and places to sit around and chat if that's what you want.

We don't judge, because we've all be in your shoes, be they stilettos, wellies or crocs!...

We're just us, we're just honest and we just do what we can to help, if we can, when we can. Let's try and have a Merry Christmas without getting off our faces this year. Xmas Smile

Here is the very first, emotional thread if you would like to see where this all started

And the last thread if you want to keep up!

babyjane1 · 10/01/2015 20:51

ma I thought willies were small intricate designs??? Unlike my knickers which are not small or intricate.

I remember a few years ago dd2 decided to throw all my underwear out of the window was very slightly open, I Iive on the main road and my bedroom is at the front!!!! Even worse dh had locked me in and I couldn't get downstairs to retrieve them. Big grey m&s pants, most of them ripped and maternity bolder holders, they were out there for 3 hours with half the village passing through my pants (not in the biblical sense) I was bloody mortified and terrified some wee man out for his paper arrived home with knickers in his hat. I should add they took ages to land below on account of resembling parachutes!!!!!!

Xxxx

Rubyredlips · 10/01/2015 21:03

Good Evening to all. What's all this about knickers out the window? Shock Grin

SweetLathyrus · 10/01/2015 21:04

Blush Grin Baby

Just gave myself a face mask, when I washed it off, I swear the women looking back at me in the mirror looks ten years younger.

I really cannot deny the physical benefits of going AF, and now DH has fixed the Wii, so tomorrow I will weigh myself.

SweetLathyrus · 10/01/2015 21:05

It's all part of the heads down, bums up regime Ruby Grin

Rubyredlips · 10/01/2015 21:07

Obrigada just read your message and thought you were planning on watching Children's BBC Grin

Rubyredlips · 10/01/2015 21:12

Wish I looked 10 yrs younger Sweet. Fab that you are seeing the benefits Smile

SweetLathyrus · 10/01/2015 21:18

It might just be the crappy low energy light in the bathroom, Ruby!

dementedma · 10/01/2015 21:53

baby why were you locked in? I have visions of dh keeping you in the attic in a Rebecca-ish sort of way

dementedma · 10/01/2015 21:54

Day 10 bloody well done.

babyjane1 · 10/01/2015 22:15

ma no no nothing sinister, he took his keys and mine to work and we always keep the front door locked. I'm only locked in the attic if I'm really really bad xxxx

SweetLathyrus · 10/01/2015 22:59

Night, night Babes

aliasjoey · 10/01/2015 23:08

ma sounds like a fun Saturday night, counting knickers Grin

SweetLathyrus · 11/01/2015 07:27

Good Morning Babes!

Still dark, but it looks calmer out down here. I've finally weighed myself and there's good news and bad news: the good news is I am one pound lighter than the last time I weighed myself (in August I think), bad news is, that still makes me almost 10st - and I don't have the height to carry it.

Since I know that I am heading back into the lion's den of stress tomorrow, I am not going to diet, as such, but now that my blood sugar seems to be leveling out I'm finding it easier to make sensible choices, and I'm not constantly grazing. If that doesn't work, I will look at upping activity levels, and if that stops shifting the pounds, then and only then will I contemplate actual calorie reduction.

Sleep still isn't quite where I want it to be, but I know I am getting much better sleep than I was. And this morning I got straight up feeling fresh.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone, I may get around to counting my knickers later Grin

TheJingleMumsRush · 11/01/2015 08:36

Morning all, I was having a massive fight with WW last night, DH had to jump in and help! We won though, don't feel too proud as it was an ugly scene.

Sweet, it's going in the right direction and that's what counts. I'm just over 10st (I think) and only 5,3 so really need to shift it too

Rubyredlips · 11/01/2015 09:06

Morning All. Shattered today but at least not hungover - yipee! Jingle you should be very proud that you managed to fight the WW and won.

Good planning Sweet.

Have a good day all.

Today I won't be drinking

SweetLathyrus · 11/01/2015 09:35

I'm picturing it as an all-out, trading punches, Western Movie brawl, Jingle! Well done for winning. Every time you do, that's a drink not taken, your liver and your waist thanks you! (5,1 by the way!)

Morning Ruby, your body is catching up, give it a chance! A not hungover Sunday morning is a joy!

Think I might, just might, have a bit of 'boing' this morning. (Yah).

TheKhalisirules · 11/01/2015 09:39

Good morning, Babes!

ma knowing about your stockings for your smart meetings, me is not surprised you have so many lacy, black and red pairs of knickers! Grin

baby I literally covered my face and read the rest of your knickers post through the fingers! OMG Blush Grin
A friend of mine in Cape Town used to refer to hers as circus tents!

sweet women looking back at you? How many preciouces are you? Grin
And hey, hey about not being heavier. I'll have to be strong starting on Tuesday because I share an office with someone who arrives with treats for both of us. Which of course means I have to treat in return and you can imagine what that leads to! I've already gained a kg since I started my new job in August.

Happy Sunday, Babes! Day 11 looking grey (but at least dry atm).

TheKhalisirules · 11/01/2015 09:46

x-posted.

Well done, Rubyredlips (just LOVE your name!) Smile
The result is what counts. No hangover, no walk of shame out of the bedroom. (I know normally the walk of shame is associated with sex but I think its safe to say our wos is booze related, I think. Right? Confused

Oh, and I forgot to say. I stayed strong last night. They all laughed when I showed up with milk and chocolate but were really supportive, otherwise. It helped that there was another fella present who wasn't drinking.

yay!

TheKhalisirules · 11/01/2015 09:48

preciouses* [mm]

SweetLathyrus · 11/01/2015 10:00

Grin Khalisi. It could be that the mirror in my bathroom is actually lots of mirror tiles (good the previous owners of our house may have had taste in the 80s, but that was pretty much where they left it! Those tiles HAVE to go): or of course could be my woeful standard of typing: or the effort I am having to go to to separate work and home life so that shitty work doesn't keep infecting what should be lovely home!

SweetLathyrus · 11/01/2015 10:01

See, there I go again - 'good' should have been 'God'!

dementedma · 11/01/2015 10:02

Windy, cold and snowy here this morning. Think will just stay in bed all day.
No lacy red knickers I'm afraid, all very dullGrin
What can I do today to pass the time, other than house work and ironing? Day 11 - a new personal best I think.

SweetLathyrus · 11/01/2015 10:09

Ma, paint nails? Browse new lingerie on-line? Skip around the house making up songs about things that rhyme with 11?
