Hello, I'm Mouse Xmas Smile

Welcome to the Bus, he's called Gerald.... he takes us up and down and this wondrous land, searching high and low for Babes in need of some support, a warm place to sit and chat, and to have someone to listen to them.

So, grab a seat as we swing by your way. There's lots of hot drinks, food and fleeces, places to just be and places to sit around and chat if that's what you want.

We don't judge, because we've all be in your shoes, be they stilettos, wellies or crocs!...

We're just us, we're just honest and we just do what we can to help, if we can, when we can. Let's try and have a Merry Christmas without getting off our faces this year. Xmas Smile

Here is the very first, emotional thread if you would like to see where this all started

And the last thread if you want to keep up!

You must let us all know what they're like when they arrive Ruby. I'm looking at the chilli chai, sweet ginger, and lemon grass - wasn't brave enough for the two you've chosen - but did wonder!

SweetLathyrus · 08/01/2015 13:58

Your life sounds so exciting, Blossom, a positive social whirl! I will admire you hugely for doing controlled drinking. I've tried sticking to weekends, but just couldn't do it.

Blossomflowers · 08/01/2015 14:06

I would not go that far sweet, probably spend rest of my weekend alone. I much rather be settled and loved up. Dating is very trying trust me. I would be happy with 3 AF nights a week, would be a massive improvement.

obrigada · 08/01/2015 14:27

*Blossom", I have a check up in couple of weeks, blood tests next week, so should have a better idea then if the dosage is right.

Blossomflowers · 08/01/2015 14:30

OB that's good. Have lived with a Thyroid problem for 13 years and weirdly levels do seem adjust so regular tests very important

SweetLathyrus · 08/01/2015 15:46

You're never alone on the bus, Blossom.

Day six ConfusedConfusedConfused

SweetLathyrus · 08/01/2015 16:10

Is that a wobbly face Jingle?

TheJingleMumsRush · 08/01/2015 16:52

Was just thinking it's the weekend soon....must keep busy

SweetLathyrus · 08/01/2015 17:03

Don't project ahead, Jingle, one day at a time (ODAAT). Day six is brilliant. What worries you about the weekend?

(sorry - just thinking that might sound contradictory, but lots of Babes will have advice)

Isinde, how are you? Have you had lots and lots of cuddles from your DTs?

aliasjoey · 08/01/2015 20:03

Another royal invite, ma? Are you actually a pantomime Dame?

dementedma · 08/01/2015 20:20

Yes I am. I am actually a blue blooded princess. I live a slum life to hide my upper class origins. My morning boinging has left me feeling down in the dumps now.....day 7 done though.

babyjane1 · 08/01/2015 20:23

ma your doing so bloody well. At least the boing has shown itself, will last a bit longer tomorrow until you'll be boinging up and down all day long (ooooh eerrrrrrr) xxxxxx

dementedma · 08/01/2015 20:37

I wish baby....Grin

Fairenuff · 08/01/2015 20:43

ma at least you have a majorly good incentive to stick to diet. Think how fabulous you will look when you are rubbing shoulders with the upper classes!

SweetLathyrus · 08/01/2015 20:49

oh you are awful Baby Grin

obrigada · 08/01/2015 21:16

Day 7 over for me too. Going to call it a night methinks. Night babes

SweetLathyrus · 08/01/2015 21:21

Ending day 8 with Death in Paradise. Have to actually go to work instead of working from home tomorrow Sad

TheJingleMumsRush · 08/01/2015 21:28

Sweet, that's when dh would come home with a few drinks, it's a way of unwinding and I think I'll be thinking about it more then. DH is doing dry jan so that should help

SweetLathyrus · 08/01/2015 21:38

It's good you can support each othe, Jingle. Can you think about other ways to unwind? You need a new ritual, something neither of you connect with a drink. A long hot bath, a foot rub? A clay face mask each and a copy of Tim Vine's joke book, see who can last longest without cracking the mask?

beachestoexplore · 08/01/2015 21:38

Psst Ma and Obrigada it's day 8 you've just done, not day 7. Shock

Am not into the witching hour yet, have a soccer match to ferry ds to first but feeling strong. I did find myself checking the calendar for the 31st (which is a Saturday by the way) and started considering whether I will drink that day or not. This is projecting that I haven't drunk in the meantime of course! Keep going babes, you are all doing brilliantly. Xx

dementedma · 08/01/2015 21:46

Oops. So it is beaches. Imagine doing so many AF days that I've lost count!!!Grin

beachestoexplore · 08/01/2015 21:54

Who'd have thought!! Be double figures before you know it Grin
