How old were you when you got married?

I was 21, nearly 22. Am 30 now and been married for 8 years, mostly happily

Chatting about it at work, and I looked at the single 22/23 year olds and thought, christ I was married at that age, and how young they seem.

They all say I was far to young to be married. I've never even thought about it like that tbh.

How about you?

Not married but moved in with dp at 18 when we left school and got engaged at 19.

Have been together for about 7 1/2 years.

27, though I started going out with him when I was 19. 13 years later we are still very happy though he no longer has a floppy fringe and I no longer wear DMs.

I was 27.

Just got to add that I'm surprised not at the ages people got married, but the age some people are now. 3 people in particular I'd always thought were much older than they apparently are.

I was 20 which I suppose it quite young but I'd been with dh for the best part of 7 years by then. We've been married nearly 5.5 years now.

got married last year. I was 31, my husband 48. We were together nearly 15 years before we got round to it though. Agree with the original text - my mum was married at 20 and had me at 21. Can't imagine taking on such responsibility at that age. Can only just look after myself now!!

Not married yet but will be next year on 1st June so I will be 35 when I marry. It will be DP's second time, he married when he was 19 the first time and he will be 36 when he marries me.
