Hello and welcome.

OP posts:
SoftKittyWarmKitty · 20/04/2014 20:58

So what's the point of messaging him at all if you know he's going to 'spoil' your life?!

fiftyandfab · 20/04/2014 20:58

thanks dont, my satnav has me going round in circles....I argue a lot with it her, she tells me, 'take 3rd exit to alley, enter alley, go forward onto alley....think I need to update software!! Wink

Hope you've got lots to occupy you this week and overtake thoughts of geeky, you never know, you might change your mind by the time you get back Smile

dontcallmehon22 · 20/04/2014 21:02

He might respond positively softkitty, but I don't know - so I'll wait till I get back to find out I think.

I hope the weather is good for us. The dc are excited.

fiftyandfab · 20/04/2014 21:04

where are you headed dont?

Had another response from boxer dog trucker! Is becoming a conversation Wink

fiftyandfab · 20/04/2014 21:06

sighs....another message from random bloke 'you sound sexy'...my reply was 'and you look....like you have no profile picture!'

Take heed 4free Grin

dontcallmehon22 · 20/04/2014 21:07

To Fleetwood for a caravan holiday break. I'm in Manchester so it's not far. I'll have time to think and reflect.

dontcallmehon22 · 20/04/2014 21:08

Messages are coming thick and fast now fifty. I hate the no pic ones.

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 20/04/2014 21:09

Of course he'll most likely respond positively because he'll know he has you right where he wants you (under his spell) and he'll be his 'nice' self until you're well and truly hooked again.

Please don't think I'm not sympathetic because I really am and I kind of know how you feel. On Thursday I really, really wanted to message MCS but I know he's no good for me and any contact only serves to prolong my pain. My friend tried to talk me out of it and I literally had to sit on my hands, but I resisted. Tonight I feel the same and want to message him. I've looked at his photos, checked when he was last on Whatsapp, and every time I do something like that, it hurts all over again. All I want to do is contact him but I know that the crumbs I'll be sent back won't be worth it, and I'll have to start getting over him all over again. It's shit, it really is, so you have my sympathy but I really think that you and I need to play the long game here and think long term recovery rather than short term semi-satisfaction.

lucyintheskywithdinos · 20/04/2014 21:10

Evening all!

dont definitely a good idea to wait until you get back.

Mr Conductor is texting me a couple of times a day, lovely chatty messages. We are going out for brunch next Sat, I'm really looking forward to it.

Have a date lined up with a saxophone player (I only am attractive to musicians it seems!) for in a couple of weeks. I'm crazily busy from now until the end of summer - all fun stuff, but it does make it harder to fit in dates!

We are having a house party in a fortnight, I must make sure my friends invite all of the lovely single men they know!

whitedoorbell · 20/04/2014 21:10

fifty you made me choke on my gin Grin
I got a great one
"hi. message me if you fancy a drink..

dontcallmehon22 · 20/04/2014 21:12

You talk a lot of sense softkitty. I will really take this week to think. I think I should probably ditch the kinky geekyalike on tinder.

fiftyandfab · 20/04/2014 21:13

dontcallmehon22 · 20/04/2014 21:13

fiftyandfab · 20/04/2014 21:15

whitedoorbell · 20/04/2014 21:15

don't try to put geeky behind you and enjoy yr trip.

fiftyandfab · 20/04/2014 21:16

whitedoorbell · 20/04/2014 21:17

the bullshit didn't put me off so much as the fact he was a pure bill oddie lookalike pmsl

fiftyandfab · 20/04/2014 21:18

hahaha flora I have interpreted SEAT Ibiza car!!! Not the holiday pic. That's still a mystery!

dontcallmehon22 · 20/04/2014 21:18

I will have a fab trip. I do have a photo of my car, I could put that on as my Ibiza photo Wink.

The thing is, I'm very fussy - but geeky was everything I go for.

I'm still messaging kinky geekyalike. This can only go very wrong.

fiftyandfab · 20/04/2014 21:19

ladies, I have to say that, apart from the obvious empathy emanating from this thread tonight.....it has me laughing soooo much!!!!

dontcallmehon22 · 20/04/2014 21:23

Me too actually! And I needed that Grin
