Just thought I'd start a new thread, general chit chat, moaning, skipping etc before I go to work and incase the other one fills up.

Well done on the interview!

Are you feeling well enough to do something for yourself tomorrow? Even if its just some nuts and a trashy film, go easy and plan fun things.

LoserNoMore · 05/07/2013 15:40

Thanks.

I'm going to need to feel well enough. Back to work on Monday :( Not sure what I'm going to do. Can't sit about feeling sorry for myself though.

Go and see Despicable Me 2 - it's hilarious!!! Defo a good one for cheering ones mood Grin

I will be suffering the influx of the DSSs - not looking forward to it at all DP and I are barely talking at the moment!! Had a flip out last night because he does fuck all very little around the house ..... It's a long story and not one for here! Wish I was closer - I would come and keep you company! (And make you toblerone cheesecake Wink!!)

JaxTellerIsAllMine · 05/07/2013 20:15

LNM - its roasty toasty here and I have to work over the weekend. Does that cheer you up at all?

Give your friends a call, see what plans they have and get something fun organised. or maybe JD?

LoserNoMore · 05/07/2013 20:28

Imtheonlyone, I don't miss that aspect. Ex was the messiest person and done fuck all too! Hope you sort it out though. I'm going to take dd's to see Despicable Me 2 next week. Haven't seen the first one though. It is a shame you're not closer, I need cheesecake.

That's a shame, Jax. Hate working weekends. My hay fever is terrible today so couldn't sit out much. Wanted to rip my own eyeballs out. JD text me earlier asking if I had plans so we shall see what happens. Better refrain from wild sex though and just indulge in other fun activities

Have you thought about posting in Employment or speaking to ACAS about your work situation? You work do have a duty of care for you and if the stress of work is making you ill then they are responsible. Maybe you could get advice on drafting a letter to your boss explaining that it is too much and what needs to be done? If you put it in writing then she can't just ignore it, especially if you would have a case for constructive dismissal.

I understand that you want a new job a.s.a.p. but it might be worth a shot for getting less pressure in the meantime.

ChipsNEggs · 05/07/2013 21:19

Posted too soon, I think you should also have JD round for therapeutic massage.....

JaxTellerIsAllMine · 05/07/2013 22:27

yes - therapeutic massage is whats needed. no hanging from the chandeliers though! Grin

Im off to bed, had to take a hayfever tablet earlier. Despite being non drowsy they do make me sleepy and my poor nose thinks Ive rubbed it with sand paper.

swallowedAfly · 06/07/2013 14:39

Quick hello from the beach. Sun and sea is taking my mind off of other stuff not to mention a bit of socially acceptable daytime drinking ;) hope u find something fun to do lnm and good luck back at work. Imtheonly good luck kicking your dps arse into gear

imtheonlyone · 06/07/2013 18:25

Haha thanks SAF! Glad to hear you're having a lovely day away from it all. Jax - not forgotten, just been dead busy with the four boys!!! LNM hope you're ok and found something to do with JD Wink
Dp's arse has been kicked into next year! All hell was let loose last night, I am surprised the kids didn't wake up!! All calm today and he's being very helpful lol!!! Wonder how long it will last this time!

JaxTellerIsAllMine · 06/07/2013 19:08

thanks Imtheonly Grin

SAF relax, and enjoy yourself.

LNM - hope you are having fun in the sun.

Today I have been gardening from 9ish am until 4 this afternoon. Back is lobsterfied and I was filthy, but got all the pots done and my patio is amazingly pretty now. Got grass to do tomorrow - but I will be covering my back and applying lots of cream. eejit that I am. Forgot my back.

lazarusb · 07/07/2013 12:29

LNM - As a back pain sufferer I can highly recommend being on all fours for 'therapeutic massage' purposes Wink
Don't worry about missing out on 'his' family stuff, there will either be people asking him where you are or talking about it behind his back...he will be aware of that, I can assure you.

Have made toblerone cheesecake & a big jug of Pimms Smile

imtheonlyone · 07/07/2013 13:56

Mmmmmmmm .... Cheesecake and pimms Grin your day is complete WinkGrinGrinGrin

JaxTellerIsAllMine · 07/07/2013 14:45

mmm pimms, might go make some of that myself!

hi and bye - pimms is now calling me. Grin

My planting is done, patio looks brilliant and we have been spending a lot of time outside. Except the dog... he is inside with a fan, he doesnt know when he is too hot and yesterday he was in the garden and nearly overheated. A degree core temp increase can kill a dog! And he is dark, and double coated, anyway, he's been in the pool hosed down and has a cool floor to lie on - and his bed.

Popped to local supermarket to get some salad bags and ice cubes - not a thing left! so its make do with what Ive got dinner tonight.

JaxTellerIsAllMine · 08/07/2013 11:37

so hows the back LNM? Hope everyone had a lovely weekend doing whatever they were doing. Grin

Loulybelle · 08/07/2013 15:04

Hi Ladies, LNM, hope your back is better, enjoying the sunshine.

Im stabby and hate men again, arseholes!!!

LoserNoMore · 08/07/2013 20:18

Hi, my back is much better. Had a good weekend despite not having the girls. JD came over on Saturday about 2pm, we sat in the garden until about 10pm just chilling. It was nice and relaxed. We had nice food and some drinks and just talked for Scotland. Then yesterday we watched the tennis which was brilliant!

Went back to work today which wasn't as bad as I anticipated.

It is so hot today I'm not sure how I'm going to sleep tonight!

Hope you're all good.

OP posts:
buildingmycorestrength · 08/07/2013 20:22

Sounds good, and am soooo glad work was not too bad. Grin.

JaxTellerIsAllMine · 08/07/2013 22:26

that sounds good. hope work stays calm for you. Maybe the holidays (Scotland) will make things quieter for a couple of weeks.

Ive got a fan in the bedrooms, its been so hot here, but tonight is much cooler than last night. I hope I can sleep, because Im not a happy camper on limited sleep.

Areyoumadorisitme · 09/07/2013 07:20

LNM - glad to see that you're doing well and that work wasn't as bad as you expected.

Nice to see that you're enjoying JD's company too Smile.

LoserNoMore · 09/07/2013 10:25

If I'd known it was going to be so bloody hot I'd have taken this week off too! It's unbearable. Help!

OP posts:
LoserNoMore · 09/07/2013 16:16

So I guess you're all out enjoying the sunshine :/ Internet is down at work and I'm bored shitless. 1 hour to go though...and then I'm home to an empty house and ex has the girls all week. Totally forgot he was on holiday and that he was having them :( I absolutely detest going home to no one. Wtf am I meant to do all week?! Friends are all wrapped up in their own lives which is fair enough, not a dig but meh.

OP posts:
RandomFriend · 09/07/2013 16:48

I'm here, I saw your first thread "doesn't look good", and have kept up now and again and posted a couple of times.

Poor you going home to an empty house.

Have you got all the access arrangements set down in stone, or is it still a bit ad-hoc? I really felt for you that time when he called to ask if they could stay a second night. And then those times when he cancelled. It seemed very unpredictable.

It would surely be useful for you if you know when you have the DDs and when they are away.

For tonight, it is not too late to call a couple of friends.

lazarusb · 09/07/2013 16:59

Spent 5 hours travelling today for a 20 minute meeting. Can you go to the cinema/out for a drink by yourself? Totally understand if you don't want to but it might be nice to do something different. If not, film & some crap to eat? Don't forget your pistachios though!

LoserNoMore · 09/07/2013 17:03

Thanks RF. it is all a bit ad-hoc but the arrangements this week were arranged a few weeks ago. I had just forgotten about it. They have been at the childminders yesterday and today and he is picking them up from there tonight when he finishes. I was going to have a BBQ tonight but not going to happen now. It's days like this I fucking hate him so much. Just feel like grabbing vodka on the way home now and getting pissed :( Not the answer I know but just feeling like crap.
