No there's a difference between formula bashing & wanting it to be safe to use Bears. I have 4 children & only 1 of them was breast fed for any decent length of time. It's about making it an informed choice & not an advertising campaign. That's all!

Bears may come back; I used to donate BM to prem baby unit (years ago, obviously!) until I was told that I would have to present it in person; hospital was too far away so said no. Sad, as breast milk was always considered best for babies in intensive care. Does this still go on with BM donors? Curious!

Sorry, everyone; my mind is all over the place atm! It's because I will be seeing DD1 soon for the first time in 2 1/2 years and my GD2 for the first time ever (she is over a year old now)!

Am reading your thread, I felt my heart literally sinking. But, I would reiterate what harriet said you wont be alone here on MN and it is a great place for support.

Very true harriet someone on MN is always there for you . Last Christmas season, was very isolating and dark time for me and the kind souls on MN did really help despite me being a man and see I am now a permanent liability .
