Happy belated birthday mini!!!

Stars, well done on interview!!

Jynier - you need the electric cigarettes all my medic friends smoke. They taste yummy. You order online, works out cheaper than cigarettes and very effective. Will try and find out where from. They're v good, smoke comes out and everything

I just saw a friend Shock haven't done that in months and months!

kitty, how is littlekitty?

Mrs- cheers!

My DH gave up the fags, using a mix of hypnotherapy, homeopathy and Nicolette tabs. That was 5 yrs ago.
I am so awake. Bit of the old itches going on, but just can't settle.

MrsShrek3 · 29/06/2013 06:21

poor you mini. Are you still suffering from holiday timezoneitis? Damn the itching. Sad

dd itchy and ds2 wheezy so must be the pollen or summink here.
Been awake since 5 DH in a really bad place and keeps just hitting his head. Sad smallest things are bugging him out of all proportion and I just want to make it all fixed for him.

SummerDad · 30/06/2013 01:30

Hi Jynier,

Good to know that you are on quit smoking route, I gave up smoking five years ago finally after quitting it 1000 times Grin I never used any thing for quitting simply kept trying. For me craving was more about psychological support you get by smoking rather than for nicotine I guess. For me, the mantra was never quit quitting and it succeeded in the end, at least for now Smile. I do have a very strong craving still sometimes specially when I am feeling down but somehow I convince myself not to go back to square one. All the best for your efforts :)

Hello - I've been to my school reunion. I was definitely the fattest there but had the least wrinkles. The barman gave me 6 x B52s for £10 so I guess fat doesn't matter. Had red lipstick & black eyeliner to go with 1950s style dress. Hopefully a good choice! I'm a bit drunk Grin

SummerDad · 30/06/2013 02:24

Hi themidwife, hope you had a good the school reunion Smile Seeing your class mates after so long would be interesting for sure.

awww, hugs to you and starlet Sad

BlueyDragon · 02/07/2013 06:21

Gentle hugs for stars and MrsShrek. It's horrible when all you want to do is make it better and you can't.

How is LilKitty? Both DD and DS said cock instead of clock for a long time. DD also said dikes instead of bikes - not an issue until we were out one day and two girls were walking down the hill hand in hand behind - yes, you guessed it - a row of bikes. DD had (still hasn't actually) no volume control and I think the whole town heard her. Fortunately the girls thought it was funny.

cafe, don't cut anything smaller than a hose pipe and you'll be ok. Perhaps orthopaedics might be your forte Grin ?

themidwife · 02/07/2013 07:20

Yes hugs to all having a tough time. I'm ok, recovered from hangover but now on a detox diet! Sad

Minimammoth · 02/07/2013 12:37

Hi midwife. Detox gloom eh? You will feel Mahhvelous when you finish it though. How's the hypno gastric band doing. Have you stretched it?

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 02/07/2013 13:19

Bluey that's gorgeous Grin Littlekitty also says piss for water as we have fizzy water (probably outs self).

How's work, bluey? Are you a Human Rights Lawyer or did I dream that? Hmm When the mass munch?

Poor, poor, starlet. So worrying for you. At least she is in the right place now. Why was she staying with this man anyway if he cared so little? Angry Sad

Good luck with the detox, themidwife Grin

At starlet soon gain her confidence and bounce. Has LilKitty got her tooth through? Got another computer day and fending off email crap. Have a good rest of day.

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 02/07/2013 15:29

Not yet, mini but temp has gone and she's back to sleeping 11 hrs hence my night time absence.

What do you do, mini? I get the feeling you are self employed

OP posts:
Minimammoth · 02/07/2013 16:53

Yes I am indeed self employed, my DH runs a building business and I do the supporting admin, thus groans about VAT and computer, records, filing etc. but I also work in the field of complementary medicine in various guises, far too many hats, do I wear. If you want more detail I can PM you, as its a small world.

themidwife · 02/07/2013 17:26

Hi all! Yes stretched the band so need to listen to cd again. I mom clean & lean to shift some flab & withdraw from all the sugar & booze!

Glad littlekitty is sleeping again & hope you're fending off those emails Mini!

How are you Bluey?

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 02/07/2013 20:24

Sorry, mini. I didn't mean to be nosy. I'm just interested in what everyone does as I have little images of people. You make me think of my lovely, elegant, sophisticated but self deprecating friend. I picture you as her Smile

Hi themidwife, seeing one of your colleagues tomorrow for my16 week app. Grin

Had a run in with a racist carpet cleaner today. I told him he wouldn't be getting my custom because of his verbal bile. His reply was "but you sound English" suggesting I shouldn't be offended as I was "English" Shock Confused Angry Sad

So many emotions Grin
