How is every one doing on the nocturnal side of things, I have been very poor lately, does hardly cross midnight and I am already asleep Smile

jynier · 09/06/2013 00:49

Hi dad! - Am afraid that we are all failing as insomniacs now; bring back the old days!!!

Seriously, dad, thank you for starting the thread; it has been a lifesaver during the sleepless nights and an eye-opener! So many people have shared their experiences; lots of them very sad but quite a few hilariously funny and some of them absolutely inspirational (you know who you are!). cafe is, I think, the most enthusiastic poster despite her overwhelming workload!

cafecito · 09/06/2013 01:09

Happy fathers day dad !!

cafecito · 09/06/2013 01:12

well done getting through MIL's funeral, what a horrible time you've been having [hugs]

I had a nutter on my way home blocking 3 buses in the middle of the road Hmm and now I am being the noisy neighbour, playing my random French songs at 1.30am

cafecito · 09/06/2013 01:34

in an insouciant, yet polite way of course

jynier · 09/06/2013 23:47

Hi, stars! Think that you have been on door duty for long enough! How many times did you have to push 'er away?

I'll take over now!

"MrsShrek3 - have you been revising all day?

Oh, pleased to hear it! Good luck for tomorrow!!! x

MrsShrek3 · 09/06/2013 23:51

about eight hours worth Shock
it's not like I will sleep and forget it all, now is it Grin
have you all had sun? and got burnt like me

cafecito · 10/06/2013 00:22

MrsShrek! Good luck! Smile

no sun very very cloudy and cold enough to wear - gasp- a hoodie.. had a totally useless day, where I hugely overslept and then walked into central London, then around central London, then finally ended up at the library at 6pm Hmm

I then procrastinated further on ipad by lurking on here and saw stars was the doorman and decided not to post just in case as steel toe cap boots sounded like they might hurt me Smile I am onto neurology Confused

MrsShrek.. when is your exam?

jynier · 10/06/2013 00:47

Hi, cafe! Am changing the subject completely! I was in central London last Thursday; it was very, very hot! Enjoyed seeing my family and pushing my baby GD along the Embankment. Saw Tower Bridge open to let a Thames barge through!!!

V. cold here, too; have turned on the heating again!

cafecito · 10/06/2013 01:17

brrrr

yes I used to go to work by driving over the bridge back in the day

it would often open up in rush hour!
