jynier · 22/05/2013 23:20

So overjoyed for the last few days to see my Kiwi visitors; have not kept up with national news!

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN IN WOOLWICH TODAY??? FG unbelievable!!! May the poor young man Rest in Peace!

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 23/05/2013 07:23

Gosh god everyone sleep through? Good girls and boys Grin Littlekitty and I were up for half an hour only.

jynier, I'm so glad you are having a good time. How's the weather been in Camberwick Green? How long are they staying for?

Indeed, Terrible news in Woolwich Sad That image of the man with blood in his hands (both metaphorically and literally) is grotesque.

Littlekitty is off to feed the much-signed-about fish today (finally) She will be made up Grin

I did! But still wake up knackered! I'm afraid feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything at the moment. Still basically a single parent most of the time with 4 kids & a demanding job & no family support other than separated husband. No change on the horizon & Doo Doo is really hard work since birth at the moment.
I'm having a couple of days away in London next week with a friend which will do me the world of good!

MrsShrek3 · 23/05/2013 22:15

mw you will have to put your kids in parcelforce48 to the swamp like kitty Wink I do a great nocturnal childminding service Grin
Envy trip to london
Envy nice weather in camberwick green (pissing down here)
Envy kitty

better go and wash some green off my face nowGrin

jynier · 23/05/2013 23:23

You lot are nuts (in a nice way)! We've lost Dad, haven't we? (He started this thread - typical man!!!)

My little NZ GD is not well; local surgery refused to see her! Brilliant, isn't it? My living 3DCs were born and bred here and under the care of the same practice for many years! Gutted!. Have a routine appointment with my doctor on June 4th; poor bloke!

jynier · 24/05/2013 00:42

Temporary halt to visits to DD2 as XH is here for a few days. Am wondering if he even acknowledged the 40th anniversary of the loss of our 3rd child? Probably not! Bet he has never even mentioned it to 2nd wife. Wouldn't be surprised as he didn't even contact the hospital when beloved DD2 was born! I waited hours before I rang him (didn't want to disturb him and the first two DC) and then he asked me (despite baby's head coming down in our bathroom!) if it was a false alarm!!! A*hole!

RachaelCurtis · 24/05/2013 07:08

Jynier, why can you not see your family whilst your XH is visiting? Surely you and your XH can be in the same place? I assume you are both adults. Or does the anger and bitterness on both sides make that impossible? It must be very difficult on family occasions (and for your dcs in general.)

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 24/05/2013 07:46

jynier, I'm sorry to hear about your granddaughter. Sad Do you have a walk in centre near you?

Mrs, did all the green come off? Isnt Shrek green anyway?HmmSmile How are things at the swamp? How's MrMrsMum? How's the aspie science geek (that was lovely) coping? and the other shekletts?

Themidwife, I would defo advocate sending your babies to the swamp Grin Mrs does a great line in beach-tiring-out, snuggles, stories and grub. They are delivered back, clean (if sandy), fed and knackered Grin

Seriously, that must be very difficult for you. I thought MrMidwife was moving back in? Sad

OP posts:
themidwife · 24/05/2013 13:53

MrMidwife is dicking me about as usual. He is in an extremely selfish phase at the moment!! Angry

themidwife · 24/05/2013 14:14

Sorry to hear you're feeling upset Jynier. After all those years could you share time with the GDCs?

cafecito · 25/05/2013 00:33

Hello, have been under self imposed exile due to work stresses. Working this weekend --nearish to where that poor man was killed - awful awful awful.
Had a weird few days in fact.
Jynier - grumping solidarity with you! my ex has been threatening to take DS sigh I have now gone down the 'of you dare turn up with your crazy currently on bail for attempted murder girlfriend you will* have an injunction thrown at you' route. A friend (I avoid friends, on the whole, too stressed and busy to see them) said today my life is like a high class Jeremy kyle.. I'm not sure if I should be offended or flattered Grin
bumped into someone I went to school with today, in my hospital. Have not seen in 10 years or more. Very weird!

cafecito · 25/05/2013 00:33

oooops ^ not meant to be bold

cafecito · 25/05/2013 00:36

sorry about mrmidwife. sharpening goat.

Kitty - melting at fish signing!!! adooorable!

I was once kidnapped in a taxi (no, really) and threatened to go swim with the fishies Hmm and having my throat slit in central park. I was 14 in new York. Maybe I should write a book before I forget these crazy happenings

sorry, rather sinister leap from darling littlekitty fishies!

cafecito · 25/05/2013 03:13

is everyone asleep Shock Smile

BlueyDragon · 25/05/2013 05:39

I'm not asleep, cafe, but I hope you are. No idea why I'm up this early, think maybe I didn't drink enough water yesterday and the takeaway didn't help. Ah well.

There are a lot of sharpened goats needed this week. Have the goat targets been conspiring?

Minimammoth · 25/05/2013 06:28

Have slept ok which is a miracle, considering I ate 2 massive meals yesterday made up largely of chips- yes yes they are my forbidden fruits. So my stomach feels yuk. Stoopid mini. It was our wedding anniversary so we thought we'd eat out.
Also not enough water and too much gin
Well on with the day. We are visiting FIL,MIL tomorrow. I have cakes to make, bread to bake and goats to sharpen.
Have a good day everyone.

MrsShrek3 · 25/05/2013 07:27

hope those goats are very sharp now (and dozens of them). widespread insanity by exes by the look? full moon, anyone Wink
