pmsl @ Jane the Bin Grin

ds1 was also a "bin-bin" fiend. Everything he wanted "away" went in the bin. including a mobile phone Shock the git. we heard it ringing from underneath a cornflake box and some used teabags. awesome.

themidwife · 21/05/2013 23:40

Thank God for the new fortnightly rubbish collections eh?!! Grin

themidwife · 21/05/2013 23:42

Glad you & DH getting on better Harriet. Painful prostate - ouchy!!

Postcard. Lovely view of sun setting over sea.
Dear you lot. Have been having a very restful time, long walks, lots of sleep even afternoon naps. Full control of the remote. no phones or emails and Wine. Luv mini.
Unfortunately am back home now but still 'on holiday'. Now have migraine after catching up with SIL on happenings. SS now involved trying to get care for MIL while FIL is still in hospital. I don't think she will agree to being in a care home with 'strangers' though. Don't know what will happen. Have taken med so waiting to feel sleepy.
Love reading about the little sooties. My DGS has just lost his front teeth. Aw.

MrsShrek3 · 22/05/2013 00:04

Envy @ mini's postcard

getting home again ...such a b@stard of a thing to have to do RL again. Keep looking at the postcard says I.

themidwife · 22/05/2013 00:13

Your me time sounds blissful Mini. Afternoon naps?!!! Envy
Sorry to hear about the pressures awaiting you at home Thanks

themidwife · 22/05/2013 00:14

How's MrMrs' Mum Mrs?

themidwife · 22/05/2013 00:15

Oooh nasty tests MrHarriet! Mind you - still think we win in the nasty tests competition!! Shock

MrsShrek3 · 22/05/2013 00:29

Shreksmum (simpler Wink ) is still critical but stable. ICU reduced her sedation for a bit but it made her very restless and panicky this afyernoon so they've had to put her back to sleep. sigh.

who's aiming for some zzzs tonight?

cafecito · 22/05/2013 01:56

themidwife = aunt flo?

Jane! summerdad do you know a Jane?

gorgeous sounding little ones. My small person has passed all that stuff now he's so grown up already it'sa bit sad (I realise that's a very selfish thing to say, but I missed such vast chunks of him growing up through working and so forth, he's gone from tiny baby to sensible large boy in a flash)

Mrs how scary for you still

I am not sleeping tonight, am in the hospital..

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 22/05/2013 03:54

Sorry, I fell asleep Smile

Jane it is then Grin I love it.

Welcome home mini and thanks for the postcard. Sorry you have had to come back to earth with. crashSad It sounds like the MrMiniMum is still lucid enough to understand about homes and strangers . I remember how difficult it is at that borderline stage. How's MrMiniDad?

Oh Mrs, too. I'm glad you haven't left us for your new stoke-advisory friends Wink Seriously, though I'm pleased you are getting good support and advice there. How's Shrek? The shrekmum must only be young.

Hi doctor chops, you working? Which ward? Got any coffee? Do I need need to start making you a flask again?

Oh Harriet, poor Mr H's prostate Shock. Glad its nothing sinister but sounds owey. Good to hear you two are getting on better though. His cheerful crisp and choc run made me smile Smile

Littlekitty is currently obsessed with Count von Count from Sesame Street (who funnily enough was my favourite too) She keeps doing his counting laugh "ah ah ah ahhhh!" then doing the sign for more Smile Cutie Grin

Oh thelovelymidwife I left you off my missive....Shock how could I? How are your lovely hills? Grin

cafecito · 22/05/2013 04:01

I don't have any coffee Kitty! will you be my wife!?

I am not very good with prostates in a doctorly sense (or any sense, come to think of it) - you need normal sized hands and mine are too small Blush I'm worried I will fail my prostate-orientated practicals

I love Count! Oh my goodness! I can sing you THE BATTY BAT song off by heart Grin I want DS to watch sesame street but he prefers rubbish other things. sigh. I grew up on it. and look how great I've turned out Wink

KittyAndTheFontanelles · 22/05/2013 04:02

Harriet, my doctor (not cafe, my other, less amusing one) said we can conceive without bleeding (niceBlush)

OP posts:
KittyAndTheFontanelles · 22/05/2013 04:07

Brew There you go, spouse Grin

I love Sesame Street too and I'm so pleased she's taken to it. Ah, the batty bat

Prostrate practicals Confused Shock Grin That's so funny. Surely it would just be a bonus if you could get your whole hand up there Hmm

No offense meant Mr H Smile

Right, your wife must sleep. Back to work you Grin

OP posts:
cafecito · 22/05/2013 04:20

it's all about long fingers and angles, kitty

again, no offence MrH - sounds horrible for him (and thus for you too Mrs H V)

thank you for the Brew ! Incidentally I have been invited to a female same sex civil partnership wedding* (not sure the correct terminology) in the summer. 2 white wedding dresses! I am really looking forward to it free booze and macaroons and an excuse to buy a new dress

BlueyDragon · 22/05/2013 06:06

Flowers for everyone in the swamp, MrsShrek - I hope your MIL is getting the care she needs. Are you a long way away? Just wondering if you are having to traipse round the country in addition to all the other crap you have to deal with. It sounds like you did just the right thing with your DCs though, what stars they are.

I am awake and fretting about our new kitchen. Building work started Monday a week early because the chuffin' builder screwed up the dates and we only found out on Sunday morning so had a day to clear everything from the kitchen and the garage; there are lots of minor cock-ups/misunderstandings going on because he's not listened plus other building associated stresses. All completely first world problem stuff and not that important in the grand scheme of things, but doing my head in nonetheless.

BlueyDragon · 22/05/2013 06:09

More Sesame Street ear worms for you: the Mnah-Mnah song!

cafecito · 22/05/2013 06:49

Oh Bluey I LOVE that song, and the video!!

How are you doing? [eek] at builder stresses, argh! would do my head in!

BlueyDragon · 22/05/2013 06:55

I'm going to be whistling it all day now Grin.

We're all fine, just a bit stressed! Things can be so much worse. How's the revision going, or don't I ask?

MrsShrek3 · 22/05/2013 07:25

bluey, hope your kitchen stresses and incompetent tradesmen are sorted asap (and after that I am coming round to throttle you for mentioning that bloody tune which is now in my head on loop already) Grin
cafe on a nightshift...noooo! hope you have a peaceful sleep sometime!
