Have just been watching footage of NZ House of Representatives voting for gay marriage; I know that probably some of you will disapprove - that is your right - but found it incredibly moving especially when the people in the gallery sang "Pokarekare Ana!" IMHO, one of the best love songs of all time!!! I sobbed with joy! All hail to Louisa Wall, a woman who stuck with her beliefs!

Do any of you know how to link this?

Will be back later; best wishes!

MrsShrek3 · 17/04/2013 22:50

can link for you but where to find? YouTube?

themidwife · 17/04/2013 22:51

This says it all for me Jynier by big marriage equality supporters Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. I even have a Same Love T Shirt!

today, I was in theatre all day, in scrubs.. with blood splattering all over me as consultant smashed someone's leg to pieces (it was brutal)

now have blisters from my theatre clogs

about to have a bath and attempt bed.. as the whole thing starts again first thing

jynier · 18/04/2013 00:01

Grrr! Still can't share, despite the advice!!!

Hope that you're all ok; am going to take a couple of sleeping tablets (I never do this) but another friend has died. She was going to come to CG to see the bluebells and I told her to wait! She's amazingly fit, wasn't ill at all, had no bad habits ...! Very sad for her family.

cafecito · 18/04/2013 00:31

oh jynier what a terrible shock - life is so very fragile and unpredictable. I was in intensive care earlier, and looked around and it struck me.. you would have been a wonderful friend to her I'm sure. You must be pretty numb - hope you get some sleep x

jynier · 18/04/2013 00:40

Thank you, cafe! Judy was not ill at all; am somewhat bewildered!

You young people must make the most of your lives and enjoy every single day.

Gonna knock myself out now with a couple of Temazepam from 1999!

cafecito · 18/04/2013 00:50

refrains from giving pharmacological advice on the internet...1999 oh jynier - you must also live every single day. but I know it's so difficult when you feel like you've been run over by the grief bus and are stranded and alone in the traffic island in the middle of the motorway not knowing what to do or think. I realise that anaology is useless but I have a scrambly brian today Smile I hope you get some rest, remember we are here when you wake up. Judy didn't deserve to lose her life so unexpectedly, it's not fair at all- Sad thinking of you Thanks

jynier · 18/04/2013 01:23

Feel that everything is imploding; can't stop crying! Sorry, folks! Need some serious hand-holding!

MrsShrek3 · 18/04/2013 03:11

MrsShrek3 · 18/04/2013 03:16
