Pleased it went well OWW and sorry to get here so late! Spent the evening refreshing to catch your update, but around the time you must have posted Dd2 poured a just brewed cup of tea down herself. Gobbin! She seems ok, very red but just one small blister that I could see, so been applying tepid flannels since

On the subject of toe nails - I know a bit late for that too - I wish I could paint mine, but my 8 non-big toes have just a sliver of nail, while both biggies are huge, so think its best not to draw attention to them!

My toenails are sparkly silver shellac apart from the one that had to be amputated a fortnight ago .. It looks like Simon Weston ( guy who was badly burned in a fire during Falklands war for the youngsters)

Been texting all evening with the guy I met at lunchtime .. Lets call him KWFWB as that is the plan for Sunday .. Very sexy self assured man .. I may be on to a winner here

Friend messaged back, we are still friends. Phew. I soooo would with her mate, given half a chance again, but 'tis not to be. It was funny, I had a feeling something would happen before I went, and as soon as I saw him I thought 'fwoarrrr', and just warmed to him as soon as we got chatting. I've not fancied anyone that instantly in years. Perhaps I'm ready to get off the sofa.

I like to always have my toenails done, but they go funny if I leave any polish on for more than a couple of days, so I haven't all winter.

I couldn't be a podiatrist, though. Who would really want to spend their life touching other peoples' feet? It's nearly as bad as being a dentist.

My toenails get painted when I'm on a promise, only. I don't see the point otherwise, oh and when I'm wearing sandals in the summer.

OWW I could have written your update with my last POF date, except I got a kiss on the cheek. We are still in touch and might meet again for a coffee this weekend. I think he is thinking it's too early to make a big, sleep over night and would like to get to know me more which is a big relief to me as that is the pace I would like to set.

I am currently sporting neon pink toe nails, don't feel right with bare toenails glad i'm not the only one feet are NOT my thing, can't bear them, even when the DC's put their feet near me on the sofa i flinch!!

I always paint my toe nails. My littles toes are odd. I was born with 6 toes on each foot. Sure they took the wrong buggers off. Currently deep red.

Kirsty, he said he wasn't looking for a relationship, as he's recently out of one, and he lives 2 hours away. I also might have been a bit squiffy, and am therefore embarrassed. I friended him on Facebook, he seems quite active on there, so if he wanted to see me again it would be easy enough for him to contact me. I think he would have if he was interested, don't you?

Sorry, thread has got away from me a bit but there is a lot going on (apart from the toenails - uurgh feet, the less attention drawn to mine the better).

Juliette - wow! I think that's brilliant that you've arranged to go over and meet him. I agree with the other comments - you're more in control if you go to him and it's much easier to leave (if it comes to that) than to get someone else to leave. But I'm sure it will all be fine. Brilliant.
