Kin standards, I have to do something about the winter feet. That is all Grin

Uh-uh Juliette of course it is ... Grin

Do you think men notice or care, by the way ? I could not get nekkid with a man without having, at the very least, polish on my toes, no idea why, just seems wrong.

Disclaimer - this might be me being a bit weird again.

Bant · 23/04/2013 21:49

Kin

I don't notice unless they've got horrible yellow overgrown toenails or something.

MirandaWest · 23/04/2013 21:51

Am hoping lack of OWW update is a Good Thing :)

KinNora · 23/04/2013 21:59

I thought as much, Bant.

Maybe it's because I see so many feet, and let me tell you, there are a lot of unpleasant feet around. Especially when they leave a little drift of dry skin behind on my table - boak.

Me too Miranda perhaps they've been overwhelmed by passion in the corner of the pub.

JulietteMontague · 23/04/2013 22:03

I just have to have bright, immaculate polish as a minimum, and earrings. I feel naked otherwise.

OWW where are you?

OP posts:
JulietteMontague · 23/04/2013 22:08

I don't think anyone would notice naked feet, unless they were gross but a surprising number of men have commented on the polish, even when I've been naked. Not sure if that's strange or not, I do it for me anyway as it makes e happy to look down and see it.

Another one hoping no update from western is a good sign!

I agree re nail polish...mine are always painted, even in winter. I am currently sporting a sort of metallic purple :) It has been favourably commented upon (especially by the lovely Ex who had never been in a relationship with anyone who painted their toenails and thought it was fab! )

MirandaWest · 23/04/2013 22:19

My toenails have been naked for a couple of weeks. Really must paint them again Blush. Is this a sign of complacency I wonder?

KinNora · 23/04/2013 22:22

How funny, Velvet, Spud once told me that he couldn't believe he was in a relationship with a woman who painted her toenails, I don't think his exes were quite as vain and shallow as I am, he thought it was fantastic too.

They must be getting on like a house on fire, surely.

KinNora · 23/04/2013 22:24

Mine are candy pink at the moment, I'm often to be found with glittery toes though.

JulietteMontague · 23/04/2013 22:24

I've had that kind of comment as well.

Elsie Tanner would have approved of all of us.

OP posts:
VelvetSpoon · 23/04/2013 22:34

Kin Grin I can say without a doubt NONE of my Exs have been out with anyone as shallow as me! What with the toenails, the false eyelashes, not to mention the tallboy full of underwear, which C was Shock at....Blush

KinNora · 23/04/2013 22:35

She certainly would, more dating high fives.

I tell you what, that girl's in trouble when she gets back in, what time does she call this ?

MirandaWest · 23/04/2013 22:36

I have been doing my reports. Now I need to package weird bits of DIY store equipment into a box so DHL can get them tomorrow Hmm

KinNora · 23/04/2013 22:37

I know Velvet - I always describe myself as shallow and vain, I'm a sucker for a frivolous product.

KinNora · 23/04/2013 22:38

That's not sounding like fun Miranda

MirandaWest · 23/04/2013 22:38

Is she planning on doing a Cinderella impression?

JulietteMontague · 23/04/2013 22:39

Velvet I have an entire drawer, the wide type designed to hold saucepans etc in my kitchen devoted to my makeup. Makeup must be done downstairs, spread across the kitchen island. As it should be Grin

OP posts:
KinNora · 23/04/2013 22:43

I have a case which folds out that's almost overflowing .
A pan drawer sounds very impressive Juliette those bad boys are well deep.

OhWesternWind · 23/04/2013 22:44

Here I am! No signal in the loo.

Well, hmm, I really don't know. Not awful, not by a long chalk, and there could possibly be a spark there, nice looking, very nice body. And a very nice man too, good fun to be with. But . . . well, I don't really know what the but is, but there is one.

So, it's not instant chemistry and all that, but I would see him again definitely.

I got the feeling when we were in the bar that he was quite keen on me from his body language, and how he was talking, but he didn't try to kiss me when we left, no hug or anything, but he did say something about doing it again . . . so I am a bit confused.

Well, onward and upward with the Italian tomorrow. Same bar haha as it's very easy to find if you're coming from out of town. Will have to see if we can get the same sofa just to make it a real deja vu night.

JulietteMontague · 23/04/2013 22:48

OWW so he's a definite maybe. Could well be a grower, no kiss doesn't mean he doesn't fancy you, probably didn't want to be presumptive. Good news Grin

OP posts:
Snapespeare · 23/04/2013 22:54

oww

i could have written that post after first date with nameless....

...just saying.

Grin
KinNora · 23/04/2013 22:55

I'm with Juliette stick him in the grower category, I'm very glad you had a good time though. Bring on the Italian.

OhWesternWind · 23/04/2013 22:55
