I really hope I fancy Mr Herbalist ...I fear I am breaking one of the 'rules' and getting attached before meeting..sigh...I know I'll get shit faced beforehand (no Ike...ok Ike)

I have refrained from dating sites and instead finally asked BC if we can sort a date to meet and not be permitted to leave my bed catch up

I try and reign myself in a little Ike.

If you drink loads beforehand you may have your own 'IE' with Mr Herbalist, if you are not careful

I have a 2nd date next Sunday in a really nice well known Glasgow restaurant next week .. Maybe I'll fancy MrFixit after a glass of red?

How many of you drive on the first meeting or let the devil take it and have a drink n catch a taxi home?

Kirsty I never got anywhere with OKC, barely any messages, most not worth replying to and the rest petered out after 2 or 3 replies, never got anywhere near a date!

Ike, I don't drive so it's always walking or bus for me (or taxi if I'm feeling flush!)

I always drive. A taxi in my neck of the woods would be a king's ransom.

I drink a soda water with ice and lemon, and if my flesh does not creep, it's a good start.

Ike I usually drive if it's local, or take the train but then I don't drink much. When is your date?

Well thinking next Sat ..he kindly offered to pay for tickets to see a comedian I was talking about (while admitting it was all new to him so did not want to rush me) but I said no because I like to keep the first meet neutral.

Sometimes it is nice to have more than just the one basic glass of wine but a taxi home would be £20. Trains are a bit hit and miss and then a walk up a lonely stretch of road...

I drove today .. I actually picked him up from the station and ran him to where he had originally suggested meeting as his car had broken down .. After I'd suggested this I then realised that he could be like the guy I only lasted 10 mins with ( remember he wanted me to give him a twirl so he could have a look at me ???)

luckily we got on really well and had a coffee and a wander round the garden centre .. Only red flag is he has mentioned he is careful with money .. But paid for coffee (and offered a cake) and has picked a place that isn't cheap for next week ( I will go Dutch ) .. We'll see

I would deffo get a taxi and let my hair down a bit for a second date though..

Well after my argument with my brother yesterday I'm still feeling down! Exp came over today to help dd with a project, he got on my nerves and I went nuts and started shouting and throwing things around! Which I don't normally do! I apologised after, but after chatting with a friend tonight, I realised that he doesn't respect my boundaries atall! He pushes himself into my space all the time. And now that I'm more self aware I am starting to realise this!

And unfortunately he is the only person that is interested in me right now!! how crap is that

Not feeling too bad, a bit sad and low when I think about the good times we had especially the amazing sex. But most of all I'm shocked at his cowardly behaviour yesterday. What sort of person does that?

You're right about there being no point. It would just make things messy and more painful. The no contact wagon is amazing

Mr Fast Show who has a nice profile, messaging is very chaotic and hard to understand, but wants to take me out for cheesy peas - probably not
A random one who has just appeared this morning and I've not had chance to look at
