He's in London at the mo. Back soon I think but no idea when I can actually see him... probably won't be til the next school hols when DD is away tbh allowing for recovery time and the pill to kick in etc.

I have spoken on the phone to Mr R&R. It seems he doesn't understand what our 'relationship' is, says he has never had one like it. I think its that I don't involve him in any of my 'other' life. Keep him on the fringe. He is unsure how to proceed. We are talking but not really communicating. We both opened up. I am going to meet him Saturday.

My head is all over the place.

I am breaking my own rules.

48 it's ok, there are no rules right now. This man really likes you, you like him. You also have a hell of a lot going on and if you are compartmentalising then he won't know how to support you/behave if and when you do want him to understand. You don't have to make any decisions now, meet him and see how you feel then but also try telling him.

Well I am getting keys to a furnished flat this afternoon!!!! After 6 months at my mum's waiting for the financial settlement .. I have decided to move on and the ex can take his time and I can haul his ass to court if he does

48 - I'm glad you're going to meet MrR&R over the weekend. I hope there's a way forward for you two, even if it means taking a break for a couple of weeks. It sounds like he wants to help/support you, and although it can be difficult to accept help it can really make a difference, even if it's just someone to take your mind off things every now and then. Will be thinking of you.

And 48 glad you are meeting Mr R&R. Talking to people is important. Even if it can be a bit tricky .
