S'ok mrs I'm up for banter about lead in pencils etc but not if it's to be misconstrued as online flirtation. Blush That is not my intention. I'm a happily married prude Catholic and certainly would be very upset if I thought my husband was doing such.

So sorry, everyone. Was simply trying to make a point about the use of supplements, especially zinc, on Fri 22nd Feb at 23.50. I'm off!!! Nobody was interested really in horsemeat, Premarin and the pharmaceutical companies.

Hope that all of you who are going through children's illnesses, personal agony and suffering are feeling better!

Yes, kitty, cafecito gave me some guidance but I couldn't make it work! Wish that someone would start a debate on MN about the pharmaceutical companies and Premarin's horses, etc. Can't be me as I have the computer skills of a ladybug although I was able to share a lot on FB; my sister is horrified.

We're getting far away from SummerDad's original post.

(I intend to be less of a piglet from tomorrow, have failed epically today by accidentally eating all of the purple quality street...) I think throughout my nightshifts and library time I failed to eat and I am overcompensating Hmm

has anyone ever watched that godawful tv show take me out? I do not own a tv (said in a very prim, prissy voice filled with disdain) but I watched 'take me out' at the weekend elsewhere- and was utterly shocked that people can sit there at dinner in silence ! how does that even happen?! this thread, though oft-derailed by myself- is an example of stuff I have learned from random conversation really - jynier, I have learned a lot from you I would have never known about Premarin before this

I've never watched Take Me Out, tbh, because it seems rather tragic. Whatever happened to trotting down to your local and pulling someone for a get-it-out-of-your-system fling? I still find my flings funny years later.

by ones. I have my parish priest over for lunch and then harangue him over gay rights, contraception in Africa, etc. I'm a bit of a rubbish Catholic if I'm honest. Shock

Oh & Cafe - DD aged 3 & I had an in depth discussion about the cat's "gina" or "peanuts" or lack of either. I explained that he's a boy so has a penis but he keeps it warm under all his lovely black fur. A bit like her Dad tonight who is snoring his head off next to me!!

I am nothing special but I spend a lot of time dodging advances from randoms (example, today on the train)- which is why these shows are all the more tragic because if I get asked out all the time- anyone can really... which beats going out with someone you have never even spoken to. My sister watches it religiously and I worry that she is learning enormous plastic boobs + sparkly minidresses are the only way to go..

re: your willy- what was the outcome? That really made me laugh.

I don't have a telly either so don't know the program but it sounds hateful (it mostly is which is why we don't have telly)
