How much noise is it 'normal' to make during sex? (TMI alert!)

When I'm having sex I like to make a lot of noise and er ....express myself. My ex liked it and said it spured him on. My new bf is worried that it will annoy the nieghbours and dosn't like it much. TBH when I'm doing it I couldn't give a shit what the neighbours think as I am enjoying it too much!
I could try toning it down a bit but there is no way I am going to remain silent. With my last dp we once did it outside in a secluded area and I still didn't shut up; cue giggles and piss taking from some distant passers by! It dosn't really bother me although I am aware that some people might find it odd.
This new man isn't at all serious so I am not going to change styles. So my question is; are you noisy during sex? It seems that I am noisier than most men but then I imagine many women are. Is it odd to want to make a lot of noise during sex?

Oh. I've just realised this is a gay man. Not that it matters - my answer is still the same.

(Although perhaps sex up the bum might make me yell a bit more than my current average, in which case I am prepared to revise my parameters a bit.)

EnjoyResponsibly · 14/01/2013 16:36

I suppose it depends if you want your lovair to look at you like this Confused during sex and you neighbours to look at you like this Angry.

Despite what you may hope very, very few will be looking like this Envy they'll just be spending a lot of time saying that you should be buried in a Y shaped coffin.

This is Pirate Sex - a MN Classic

McBalls · 14/01/2013 16:37

How were you able to hear giggling of distant passers-by while you were being so loud?

Also at yet more creepy sex advice from cronull.

That's all I've got really, except for a well deserved round of applause to superstar for inventing sex. Hurrah!

ToeCap · 14/01/2013 16:38

just put the telly on or some music, that should muffle your ecstasy or is it that you are getting a kick out of the neighbours hearing. Bleurgh.

Hullygully · 14/01/2013 16:38

Is it a gay man?

ToeCap · 14/01/2013 16:41

who is a gay man?

McBalls · 14/01/2013 16:41

Cronell, I think.

FellatioNels0n · 14/01/2013 16:42

I haven't read the thread either hully but if you read the OP more closely you will see that is it indeed a man, unless it is an unfortunate typo.

LoopsInHoops · 14/01/2013 16:43

"i am a horrible girlfriend"

FellatioNels0n · 14/01/2013 16:43

My ex liked it and said it spured him on. My new bf is worried that it will annoy the nieghbours

It seems that I am noisier than most men but then I imagine many women are.

wannabedomesticgoddess · 14/01/2013 16:44

LoopsInHoops · 14/01/2013 16:44

And I can't bring myself to type or c&p the other indication that OP is female.

FellatioNels0n · 14/01/2013 16:45

Oh, I see. My mistake, sorry. As you were. Grin

LineRunner · 14/01/2013 16:45

When you come in silence, an angel smiles.

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey · 14/01/2013 16:45

Anyfucker said You sound rather bad mannered too.

You don't give a shit about disturbing the neighbours ? Do you have kids...do you disturb them too with your caterwauling ?

Have a bit of dignity and keep the racket down like the rest of us.

She's spot on

Are you my neighbour?!

If you are it's a bit off when you are being as noisy as you like and my 9 and 6 year old dds are asking me what that noise is.

FellatioNels0n · 14/01/2013 16:45

She means she as a woman is noisier than most men, not 'I am noisier than most other men.'

ToeCap · 14/01/2013 16:45

now listen here. Is the pirate a gay man or the OP?

LoopsInHoops · 14/01/2013 16:46

I can't see where you think it says OP is a man? Confused

Unless you mean this bit: "It seems that I am noisier than most men but then I imagine many women are." , which I think means 'compared to most men I'm noisy, but maybe not women' ???

wannabedomesticgoddess · 14/01/2013 16:48

Soooo confused :o

LoopsInHoops · 14/01/2013 16:48

I thought most pirates were bi. Or is that Johnny Depp?
