...although sometimes...really ? a gathered,peplum jacket?? And he wasnt channelling an 80's jacket ironically???Juliette?

Snapespeare · 09/01/2013 19:35

I think the disappointing thing is that it was really nice chatting flirting a bit with someone and daring to hope that things might work out well for a change and that will stop now. It was like...not quite like having someone, but hoping that there might be the idea of someone, especially after the usual disappointments voldemort and now even that must end. Because of small hands/trench coat. I now expect plethora of smug-marrieds to tell me I am being too picky

Snapespeare · 09/01/2013 19:36

ike. It's fine, I can take it...and if you don't laugh, then you sob. (not really). It's all just a bit bleak really. Meh.

ike1 · 09/01/2013 19:39

....OH Snape no really...THAT is exactly what happened between myself and Mountain Man and why I think I did a runner on him 9as well as being in the middle of a tough time). it was so nice to have him text lovely things to me but the reality was so different to my hopes..hmm

Yes, I am, What - only because, like a complete knob, I meant to set up a profile on Match but confused the two. I've definitely had more contacts from MA than I have from Match (I'm in a small town to the north of London), most of them show me their photo before asking if they can see mine.

ike1 · 09/01/2013 19:40

..I dunno thats why the extended texting thing is nice but a bit misleading too..

MsArsebiscuit · 09/01/2013 19:45

As 48 said, I think if the collective thoughts of the thread could have influenced Dumble-date, he really would have turned out to be perfect.

lubeybooby · 09/01/2013 19:49

Hmph. No reply yet from Mr Clever.

How long do I give it before asking The Stig or Mr iPhone instead...

Snapespeare · 09/01/2013 19:54

Who's your second lieutenant lubey? I'd give clever-chops until tomorrow and then go with one of the others?

ike yeah, been chatting to Dumbledore for, what a week or so. Ten days? Only took so long to meet because he was out of town, so met at earliest opportunity. Very little actual texting, although we had each others number. One phone call, which was limited to an hour maximum. It's a funny balance isn't it, driven by previous disappointment. I think I'm not lowering my standards per se, maybe my expectations...

ike1 · 09/01/2013 19:54

Give him oh till 9:30 then B then C Lubes

ike1 · 09/01/2013 19:56

Snapes is there any potential beyond the obvious fashion thing I reckon I know that geekiness runs deeper than the exterior tho..

lubeybooby · 09/01/2013 19:57

I dunno Snape, I'd quite like to meet the new one (The Stig) I think.

Oh! Was just about to press post and Mr Clever replies Shock

JulietteMontague · 09/01/2013 19:58

Snape it so hard when the heart, mind and body seem to pull in separate directions sometimes. OD messes with letting all three come together naturally.

You are absolutely not being to picky. I'm with you on the tiny hand thing.

48howdidthathappen · 09/01/2013 20:00

Shower Man lubey Grin

ike1 · 09/01/2013 20:01

Cool Lubes hopefully thats your weekend sorted then. x

lubeybooby · 09/01/2013 20:03

Shall I just call him Shower Man? :o

Although to be fair quite a few men have joined me in my shower. None as beautiful as he though so far...

48howdidthathappen · 09/01/2013 20:05

Mr Clever isn't he one of the 'Mr Men' Grin I have an image, it isn't good.

lubeybooby · 09/01/2013 20:07

Ok I shall call him Shower Man then

Although... he is also extremely tall and also a toyboy... TallToy? :o

ike1 · 09/01/2013 20:08

what ever suits Lubes..long, tall ..

Snapespeare · 09/01/2013 20:11

lubey Envy

Snapespeare · 09/01/2013 20:12

ike I can overlook the trenchcoat. Physically he wasn't my type. Small hands, but quite slight and androgynous. Sad

ike1 · 09/01/2013 20:15

Oh dear ..ok see I can 'do' androgynous...being fairly asexual myself ...see that is the problem.. such a fine balance..

lubeybooby · 09/01/2013 20:17

He looks like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=Tki&sa=X&tbo=d&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=1344&bih=588&tbm=isch&tbnid=Q83JCsvtAeJByM:&imgrefurl=www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00041088.html&docid=32y8NEezpx2C9M&imgurl=www.aceshowbiz.com/images/wennpic/ashton-kutcher-2011-cbs-upfront-01.jpg&w=795&h=1000&ei=8c_tUNiBEIvK0AXu-oCIDQ&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=93&vpy=92&dur=7940&hovh=252&hovw=200&tx=81&ty=170&sig=105707183564216907307&page=1&tbnh=146&tbnw=117&start=0&ndsp=29&ved=1t:429,r:20,s:0,i:220" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Ashton Kutcher in a long hair and facial hair stage. I might need a lie down if he actually agrees to Saturday.

ike1 · 09/01/2013 20:19

Ok the solution: Mr Natural the red blooded bull for Dumbledore..lets swap
