Oh there are plenty of duffers but on Match I seem to act as a grandad magnet.

Sneakymeezer · 09/01/2013 20:35

Oh Snape. It is awful, the loss of what-have-been. But small hands can be a dealbreaker....I like my men large so dinky just wouldn't cut it for me :P

Sneakymeezer · 09/01/2013 20:36

Hmm wonder what happened to the 'could' in my what-could-have-been... oh well, colour me illiterate

Bant has gorn all jaundiced....itll be all 'sod' em and flouncin'...

Bant · 09/01/2013 20:43

So I just realised Miss Feisty said 'yes' to a date tomorrow night, but hasn't responded to my suggestion of a place and time. So I mailed her again to check. I'm pretty sure she'll be a no show but she is remarkably attractive so I'll have to show anyway. In fact I'd have to show even if she wasn't, as I did send the location and time.

yes, I know, I texted ShoeGirl. Apparently her boy is sick (yet recovering), but she's not free anyway for a couple of weeks. So, quite frankly, fuck her.

MsArsebiscuit · 09/01/2013 20:45

Bant, to repeat myself, ShoeGirl is a knobber. And fuck her, and her shoes, and her bad manners.

JulietteMontague · 09/01/2013 20:46

Bant cahhhhhh innit.

Bant · 09/01/2013 20:48

Ethical dating is a nice idea. It would reward good behaviour, but what I realised was that it would have to be expensive. If the aim is to get people to date each other and behave better, and you're penalised for bad behaviour then you're not going to get the chancers turning up and paying in the hopes for a bit on the side. Whilst that's great for the people who aren't interested in them, it's not good for the finances. So you get a smaller pool of people. Now, those people who join should hopefully have to go through a smaller number of wasted dates with vanishers, chancers, general morons, before they meet someone they click with, and leave the site. Which means in order to finance it properly, the fee would have to be relatively high. Alternatively there is advertising, but it's difficult to get that without having a very large number of members.

So, I think it's just a nice idea, not realistic. If I win the lottery, maybe..

My webcam doesn't take photos. I haven't got the software but it does on Skype and I have a nice one. How can I get a copy of that to put as a profile pic when I decide to put a pic on POF.

Sorry to change the subject.

antonym · 09/01/2013 21:11

scrazy Snipping Tool if using Windows 7.

Else shift+PrintScreen puts a picture of your screen on the clipboard, so open a graphics program like Paint and paste into a new file, and crop to leave just the Skype image.

lubeybooby · 09/01/2013 21:16

Hahaa. TallToy (formerly Mr Clever) says he 'could possibly be available Saturday, what do I have in mind?'

Oh I see... waiting to see what I suggest before deciding eh...

Well I have told him, lets see if that's good enough or not (I said round two except I'll cook and no need to get up at sillyoclock)

Bant · 09/01/2013 21:16

Alt-PrintScreen just puts whatever application you have in focus onto your clipboard. I'll take a quick look and see if there's an easy way to use normal MS stuff to grab a photo.
