Can I just ask a quick question about od.

So you find someone you like and then drop them a mail, that is specific to them and they reply. So you do the usual what you been upto today thing and then you start asking more questions. Well I seem to have adopted a grilling technique. I feel like I ask them lots of questions (mixture of wit and important stuff) so I can try and build up a mental picture of them. I just don't think I am flirty at all. I don't know how to be flirty. Do I need to be flirty to get a date. I am not in it just for rude stuff and don't want to give the wrong impression that I am but I also don't want to give them the impression I am a square.

So please share with me your od chat techniques so I can learn!!

Havent been on here for a while but pleased to see dickheads suggestion of bacon sarnies and suspenders came into the title !!!Would have been fun if he was still seeing me but not a great site message to get a week after being dumped.
Just update,my scare with abreast lump proved to be a cyst so big relief.
Have tried another date but he had puppy dog eyes bit like the Hobbit and was very sad.Ended up counselling him through dinner.Also he annoyed me by saying We dont do desserts to the waitress.
WE,cheek,I do desserts but coped with a Baileys latte !
So lots of men on POF tonight wanting someone for Xmas. Dont care I have my gorgeous girls with me and large bottle of Southern comfort

I'm not good at being flirty either, and tend just to chat/ask questions/attempt to be witty etc. Tbh, I'm not great at being flirty in RL either, so it would probably give the wrong impression if I sent flirty messages.

Despite not being flirty, I've had some dates, and things seem to be going well with Mr Coffee.

Basically I'd just be yourself as much as possible. I don't think not being flirty equals square - at least I hope not!

well that glass of red turned into most of a bottle, and I fell asleep in front of the telly. How horribly middle aged of me. Then I saw Snapes on FB of White Wine in the Sun, and I watched it, and it proved once again to be the only song that can bring tears to my eyes on a regular basis.

First Xmas without the kids, all my family are miles away and my dads dead. A bit of a shit one tonight.

Nomore that is really crap of your dad. I can't bear it when people are lazy about recycling. We have communal bins for each type of thing and every time I go down there I find banana peels, crisp packets, wine bottles in the bin for tins, bagged up unsorted household rubbish filling the whole paper bin or whatever. Drives me mad.

I keep thinking about Snow Leopard and wondering what he is doing. Patrolling territory, marking trees, washing his whiskers or whatever. I want not to care but I'm not there yet.
