Wick I get exactly what you say about the 50+ thing.

I have approximately 20 minutes to get down to the kebab shop for Coffee before the apocalypse. Maybe I should phone ahead.

48howdidthathappen · 21/12/2012 10:52

Bant Texted my ex. He reckons they will probably all be sorted now.

Nice thought though. Maybe next year Smile

BantaBaby · 21/12/2012 11:09

yeah I looked things up, they need people for a minimum of three shifts, and I could only do two with being DC free on the 24th & 25th, then not free again for 5 days.

Donating money is a nice idea, but as I'm currently unemployed and have to move to Hungary in January to start the new job, money is somewhat tight.

BantaBaby · 21/12/2012 11:11

Hey one minute till the world ends.. Shouldnt my life be flashing before my eyes?

Oh wait.. there it is..

Christ that was boring

BantaBaby · 21/12/2012 11:22

I think I need to grow my hair long again. That was a good look..

fayster · 21/12/2012 11:22

Juliette, I read your earlier post and checked the time to see how long I had left....it was exactly 11.11! Spooky! But as I'm still here, maybe not.

Yoga and Western, not having any teenagers, I can only offer sympathy. My youngest stepdaughter was a cow at times as a teenager (her Dad maintained she was always one), and I gave my Mum a massive hug a few years ago and said "I'm so sorry". She asked why, and I said "14". She laughed and told me that 15 was worse. With SD it really wasn't.

So, I had more Coffee with Mr Walking. It's a bit tepid, but since I finished work for Christmas and am less stressed, I'm definitely less meh about him. I can't remember who said that could be it, but I think you might be right. I shan't write him off just yet (but if he doesn't deliver hot Coffee at some point I will have to).

fayster · 21/12/2012 11:22

Bant, no it wasn't.

ike1 · 21/12/2012 11:24

Yes hello everyone ...seems we still get to plod on inexorably towards chrimbo...no relenting..

48howdidthathappen · 21/12/2012 11:27

bant Are you a hippy at heart?

Fay Grin at tepid Coffee.

ike1 · 21/12/2012 11:28

See Bant I'd probs go for you if you had long hair (and played in a death metal band or summat)

Poppysquad · 21/12/2012 11:31

Coffee. It happened. Two hours together with Sugar Daddy yesterday afternoon as I sneaked away from a meeting early. What a harlot. Lots more phone calls and a bit of soppiness on his part. I am probably just not used to a bloke who expresses how he feels.

We are still getting on really well and have talked about possibly going away together in January - as I have to work away. Long term planning or what? I am really cautious about not getting carried away here. Help......

48howdidthathappen · 21/12/2012 11:32

I really have to wrap these christmas presents. Playing Santa later. Oh the joy!

ike1 · 21/12/2012 11:33

Congrats Poppy!

ike1 · 21/12/2012 11:35

Bant! ...you've gone quiet!...I guess your keeping the short hair afterall heh heh

48howdidthathappen · 21/12/2012 11:36

poppy Happy fucking christmas! Grin

Just enjoy it as if a holiday romance. Early days.

BantaBaby · 21/12/2012 11:37

Sorry MN crashed for me.

I was just thinking we should have 'Not the end of the world' in the next thread title. Seems appropriate somehow.

Not a hippy, I really like my creature comforts too much for that. I was just a bit stupid looking when a teenager.

So how is it that someone winks at me on Match, I get an email about it, but the wink or view doesn't show up when I log in?

48howdidthathappen · 21/12/2012 11:38

Not a hippy Sad

Poppysquad · 21/12/2012 11:40

Thanks Ike

Just caught up with previous posts. Velvet chin up. I really do understand how you feel. It was similar for me with HIS.

This is only my second Christmas single although the one before was a farce as the exH left just afterwards. I hate my DS leaving me on Christmas day to spend some time with his dad, the rest of the family rally round and try to make things better.

48howdidthathappen · 21/12/2012 11:41

ike He is all yours Grin

Poppysquad · 21/12/2012 11:41

Cheers 48 hope so!
