ooh snape which one is you? they are amazing, proper works of art.

Jaffa it hurts and its horrible sitting around thinking about it, checking your phone and feeling sad. I think when you have been through all that shit in a marriage it brings up lots of old feelings not I think, I know, but your radar is working as Juliette says and it will get better.

Kirsty good luck!

Yogagirl17 · 05/12/2012 21:37

lulu think it's a safe bet that The Doctor belongs to Snape! Smile

Juliette not the Zombie Apocolypse just the end of the world. 16 days to go - better get drinking if you want some Coffee!

lulubellaboozle · 05/12/2012 21:39

Tinsel 'wuu2' - only would have been marginally worse if followed by hun or babe? In reality if you did chose to answer who really is doing anything that fascinating or amazing at any one time. What do you answer? cooking tea, watching the telly, picking my nose, browsing online for other dates! Grin

Poppysquad · 05/12/2012 21:40

Hi - still not quite over the half Italian Stallion. Still a bit hurt. I was 'courted' online by a nice sounding chap, who asked me to phone him. I did last night. We chatted. Laughed quite a bit. He said he'dcall tonight around 9and if he didn't he said call him. I waited until 9:10. Nothing. So I called him a couple of times, the phone just rang out, no messages, nothing. I've left him a quick text saying I'd called and saying give me a ring if he wants to.

Did I just interpret the last phone call all wrong? Have I been dumped again?

Snapespeare · 05/12/2012 21:45

I have the Matt smith leg.

I have no idea what 'wuu2' means. What the actual fuck.

lulubellaboozle · 05/12/2012 21:47

Snape wow! high pain threshold Smile that must have taken hours!

wuu2 is what you up to? Grin

Snapespeare · 05/12/2012 21:50

6 hours. Got up for a stretch once. Dropped off to sleep at one point...

'Gah' at 'what (are) you up to?' Vile. Clearly I'm not cut out for this.

bantamrooster · 05/12/2012 21:53

no lulu - 'what are you up to?' means 'what are you up to'.

'wuu2' means 'I have no higher brain function but I can make my thumb twitch'

Seriously. I understand the point of text speak - 140 character limit, you have to reduce length of phrases for sake of brevity and convenience. These people are presumably typing on a keyboard. LOL I can understand, even if I hate it. 'WUU2' just implies they're a moron. I feel justified in mentally picturing a fart and thinking it in their general direction, as that's even quicker on the keyboard.

I just told the Artist we've got to slow things down a bit, as she'd planned three out of the next 4 nights together, with a phone call the other night. I really hadn't planned to go from single to married in the space of a fortnight.

lulubellaboozle · 05/12/2012 21:57

sleep?!? hardcore!

poppy you haven't been dumped, you've only just started chatting to him. It could be nothing, some people say 9pm and mean on the dot, some people say 9pm and it could mean anything around then give or take an hour. He could be stuck at work, filling up with petrol or anything, you'll find out if you get a call or a text back. If you don't, then it doesn't mean you interpreted the last phone call all wrong. We just can't see inside other people's head to know what is going on, he may have changed his mind, got cold feet, you just don't know ...... and it's the not knowing and the guessing that feels so horrible. OD needs a thick skin unfortunately.

Yogagirl17 · 05/12/2012 21:58

Snape 6 hours, holy crap, you just all the crowns! I barely coped with the 1 hour it took for mine. Went back today to get her to touch it up a little - I decided I wanted the colours in it to be brighter and she was really happy to do it. Am so happy now but don't know that I could do it again. I'm such a wimp!

I had no clue about wuu2 either. I reckon if I have to get my 11 year old to interpret my messages for me it's not going to happen.

lulubellaboozle · 05/12/2012 22:28

Bant mentally picturing a fart?! Lol threw that Lol in just for you

How did the Artist take the slowing things down a bit talk? I always think the response to conversations like that are a big clue as to somone's true nature and intentions.

bantamrooster · 05/12/2012 22:35

lulu she asked if I was seeing anyone else, and I said no, and I haven't heard from her in an hour. Which, for her, is a long time.

Snapespeare · 05/12/2012 22:57

Ooh banta she's freezing you out. Somewhere on a forum far, far away interested parties are posting 'how dare he!? He's seeing someone else! Get pregnant NOW!!!!!11!!'

It shouldn't be this difficult.... Should it?

bantamrooster · 05/12/2012 23:13

it really shouldn't, Snape I get the feeling this is not Meant To Be.

Poppysquad · 05/12/2012 23:17

Thanks lulu just a crisis of confidence again. The thick skin is a bit thin in places. He called. I'm curious. He's interesting. He serenaded me down the phone. Lots of fun. I am meeting him Friday.

Snapespeare · 05/12/2012 23:20

Well if it ain't, then it ain't & the longer it takes, the more difficult it will be. I mean, you know the regular sex is nice it's good to meet someone you like on some levelbut you kinda know you're wasting each others time here. No butterflies for you, no baby-batter for her.

JulietteMontague · 05/12/2012 23:31

Bantababes (oh I like this one too), an hour is a long time? Red flag on that kind of frequency and red flag at her reaction. At this rate you'll have enough for that Santa outfit.

Poppy Why did you have to call him first? To expect you to call again is cheeky anyway. You sound lovely, please bear (sp?) in mind that with OD some people promise all sorts of things all the time.

ike1 · 06/12/2012 00:00

Woah there Nelly! Bantabb 3 out of 4 nights????Introduction to kids????That chick will be movin in next week!

KirstyWirsty · 06/12/2012 00:17

I did post a bar update while TheCop was at the bar .. Through the app .. Don't know what happened to it

Well he was absolutely lovely .. Arranged to meet up again next Wednesday .. And I have a Coffee date with Mr Cheeky on Tuesday .. He was quite upset that he didn't make my toes curl the last time so I'm giving him another go .. I reckon we both had too much to drink that night

ike1 · 06/12/2012 00:23

Hey Kirsty glad to see you have the antidote to Mr Auditor.

Santasapunkatheart · 06/12/2012 06:41

Re Barry...he says he has blue eyes...but they are clearly brown...

Fuzzy pictures of a film star good-looking man? I think scam or fake.

Bant, I guess asking if you were seeing anyone else and going a bit quiet although an hour isn't very long is natural, I think that would be my reaction, the quietness being more hurt than anything. A bit of a play it by ear situation today then? Although reading your posts you have been a bit uncertain from the get go.

Poppy see!!! I would try and toughen up that thin skin a bit and make him do the running to start with - You're the Prize, not him!!

Kirsty good for you, the Cop sounds promising so fingers crossed.

I got fed up last night with lack of texts so didn't text Mr Ex Army at my usual time to chat and got a phone call, saying "you didn't text me!!" Had a good chat and there isn't anything wrong, just me and my over developed sense of impending doom. If I was a cartoon I'm sure there would be one of those dark clouds drawn over my head and yet by nature I am actually quite a sunny and upbeat person.

Jaffacake did you hear anything?

KirstyWirsty · 06/12/2012 07:47

Morning .. Yes TheCop is promising .. Lovely smile very fit .. Lives 2 streets away .. Shifts may be a problem with my childcare rota .. We'll see

santa Barry is a scam

bant any word?
