So you saw the OW... what was she like?

I don't really know why I'm posting this. I just cannot believe I've actually seen her.

Blonde, a bit older, two kids same age gap as mine. Lives in a beautiful house in my home town, walked past it thousands of times when I was a kid. Two of my best friends still live on that road. I saw them in her garden as I walked past with them. They have no idea, I must have looked like I'd seen a ghost.

Why why why did I agree to go to the sodding park?! It's just brought it all back. Sad

And the worst thing is... she is very mediocre. Rather boring clothes and I am actually better looking. Ok that's petty but where else can I say it but here?!

Anyone else? What was yours like?

Slightly younger. Amazing figure. Blonde. A complete trollop, though - orange fake tan, makeup trowelled on to very average face. She was definitely a butterface. Disappointing, really. She was a cliche.

I was the OW briefly in my early twenties. Was seeing someone who first had a nephew; who was later admitted to be his son; who was later admitted to be from a marriage but he was divorced; later he wasn't actually divorced, but separated... At this point I'd like to declare I'm Aspergers and tend to believe what I'm told unless I know the person to be a liar, which must have been fecking catnip to this pillock. It was only when plastic bags containing his clothes were dumped at my flat that I had an actual fact indicating a pissed off woman somewhere that I twigged and re-appraised all the drip-feeding. And ended it.

It turned out that I was a copy of his wife in terms of personality, but taller, blonder and younger. Wanker.

Doesn't quite answer the OP's question, but close enough, and it is a good story.

I have a fabulous new DP. Her ex-DH's OW is someone I work with. Someone I work closely with. The OW does not know about the connection. At the time that the ex-DH and the OW had the affair, my DP's youngest DC was a toddler. My DP has the same name as the OW's DD.

The relationship between the ex-DH and the OW did not last.

The OW is very attractive and very well dressed. She is not a patch on my fabulous DP. But my DP and the ex-DH were just not right for each other. It was not really about the OW.
