I went to the doc about something completely different and we got chatting about how everyone was settling down and stuff, and I mentioned how I was just utterly hopeless and stuck in the single life. She referred me to a counsellor who said that maybe I should go to Relate!

Honestly though - and it'll sound like a cop out to say it, I reckon it's a matter of just extremely bad timing throughout my life and an admitted lack of effort on my part - I guess I've been knocked back so much that after a while one tries to accept it!
