Ok I'm staying strong. I think. My dh's is still sick and had a hard day with him and DH keeps doing everything apart from bloody sitting with me! Got a cherry juice antioxidant drink thing and a bag of Doritos - hardly thrilling but the in laws over tomorrow and want to be fresh as house to tidy and meal to cook plus possible nightmare sleep due to ds's sickness. Right, breathe...hopoefully I won't cave if u don't, deal?! Thanks for support, sooooo close just then. Btw my skin is itching all over, is this related?? Scary if so....

Lola try not to scratch. Could be alcohol or diet related. You might need to visit the gp or at least the chemist if it continues. Do you have any E45 or sudacream in the house. Maybe a cool bath would help?

Ok I'm just stepping in for a little bit, and if I ever sound like a patronizing bag again slap me, JWN did, and we are over it.

Lola, it has to do with the central nervous system reactivating itself (since it has been numbed by the alcohol for so long) and firing off nerve endings throughout the body. This withdrawal lark is the same as drinking patterns, one size doesn't fit all, each one of us is different, I never got that, but had enough night sweats to refloat Titanic.

Dearest Blanket, you worry me. Probably worry yourself more. Anyway the corks out of the bottle now, so two choices, bin it or drink it. What's it to be? Because you do have a choice still. You gave yourself a choice buying the cranberry with the rose. Just shows that you really did want to try not to drink.

I just want to see you plumped up under your blanket again with a happy face and genius child laughing with you, this weekend with lots of chocolate rather than empty bottles. Far less effort than trying to battle with the bloody booze, that is just so tiring and time consuming.
