I'll start.

I'm 31, single and rather fed up of it now. Have a few internet dating profiles, am trying to improve my social life and get out more, even looking out for possible additional temp jobs just to be.... 'out there' a bit more.

Even had a go at cosmic ordering which has been cropping up in dating related threads recently. Now I'm a very scientific and cynical kind of person but when it comes to my (currently appalling) love life I will try anything to give it a bit of a boost. Whether that be focusing the mind on the task in hand or strange unknown forces I care not.

they do ratings? would one ever go on a date with someone who rated one less that five out of five?

Hows this:

out of the blue i got a message from pof from this guy i got chatting to on another website two years ago. Anyways, for the last two years, about every 3/4 months or so he texts me, asks me out, i say no, stop texting me. So he does, and then does again a few months later.

His message asks how i am, stuidly i say fine, you? and then the barrage of texts come.. one of which asking if i want to cook for him.. and will i do 'dessert' if he brings a bottle of rose.

Hi ladies, thought i might come join in. Have done internet dating on and off for the past 2 years, had one serious relationship from it but that ended feb. Had a date last friday but I wasnt keen (he was). Yesterday I met someone else and 'swoon' he's lovely...younger by 4 years, seems very normal and keen . Im a little bit wary about the how keen he is but just taking it one step at a time. 1st date was last night, 2nd date was today lol (just a quick hour at lunch), plus he just asked me to go for a chinese and dvd tonight. But sadly I cant as i dont have a babysitter plus im knackered and just want to put my pjs on lol

But no details. And nothing today.
